Miles of stunning coastal & hillside walks await you and only a few miles from the local towns of Tywyn & Dolgellau, with all their amenities OUTSIDE: The cottage is set in a quiet street location in a small row of terrace cottages, with an enclosed rear garden/terrace and a lovely aspect with the mountains beyond. There is garden furniture and a BBQ for the guests to use. GROUND FLOOR: Living/dining room: From the hallway off the street, there is a cosy sitting room, which has carpeted flooring and an original slate fireplace with an electric ‘log burner feature fire’ for extra heat on a chilly night. There are 2 X 2 seater leather settees plus a wooden coffee table, 32” flat screen TV & BLUERAY/DVD with FREESAT. The dining area to the front has a cottage style wooden dining table and seating for 5. For your entertainment there is a retro record player with albums and CDs, books and games. Kitchen: To the rear is a cottage style kitchen with great views of the hills. Fully fitted pine wood units give the kitchen a very authentic, rustic feel. It is well equipped with everything you require to cook for a family. The kitchen boasts a good range of appliances, including a breakfast bar and stools, sink/drainer with mixer tap, fridge, (freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer in garage behind), electric oven/grill, ceramic hob, integrated dishwasher, microwave and toaster. The kitchen door leads to the rear garden/terrace and garage which can be used for storing bikes etc. UPSTAIRS: Bedroom 1 (sleeps 2) to rear. Carpeted floor, overlooking the rear with the mountains in the background, just stunning! A double bed and 2 bed side tables. Bedroom Two (sleeps 3) to front. Carpeted floor, overlooking the street with the mountains in the background. A single bed on side and a single ‘trundle bed’ on the other which can be made into a double or 2 singles. A 5-drawer dark wood period chest of drawers and a twin wardrobe with storage drawer. Family Bath & Shower Room Contemporary style, with period white dressing table, white bathroom tiling with tile effect floor, separate electric shower, bath, pedestal wash hand, WC, wall heater and storage heater. Additional info: Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Changeover day is SATURDAY in the main season. There is a £35 booking fee and a minimum charge of £250 applies to any stay. We also ask for a £150 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property Prices inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels. I small/med size dog will be considered; a £25 supplement applies. We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We have a travel cot & high chair for a baby if needed. We can accept payments by cheque, Bacs, or card payment.More

We stayed here in February, just the two of us so plenty of room. The cottage had everything we needed for nights in cooking and relaxing by the fire. Not too far away is Cadir Idris which we hiked in perfect conditions- what a view...More
