Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, main bedroom also has an additional outside shower; three bedrooms share family bathroom plus additional toilet and outside shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning and fans. Study/tv room with air conditioning. Large and comfortable sitting room which seats around 12 people with ceiling fans;the kitchen has all necessary equipment including large fridge freezer with icemaker as well as an additional drinks fridge . A large oven, Fisher & Paykel double draw dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine are available. There is plenty of sitting/launching areas to both the sea and garden side of the house. In addition, there is dining for ten or more people outside under the pergolas, both to the Sea and garden sides of the house. The property benefits from facing East; just like the old Estate Houses; this gives a gentle breeze through main inside areas of the house, as well as four out of the five bedrooms. You can dine to the sound of the sea on the seaside; alternatively watch the 'tinkerbells' and listen to sounds of the tropics while dining/sitting on the garden side. Daily maid service on weekdays, is included in the rental who will also prepare breakfast if required. At additonal charge a cook can be arranged to prepare other meals. With Harmony Hall to the right and Nonsuch Resort to the left, there are two excellent restaurants within 10 minute walking distance. Use of a 29ft. twin engine motor boat would be possible during the winter months, at additional charge for fishing/exploring the many deserted islands/beaches in the area; a local captain would need to arranged. Sailboat rental is available from either Nonsuch resort or Harmony Hall. Property is suitable for Weddings as well as family holidays. With the possibility of the next door house also available for rent, the joint properties would sleep 20 people. Depending upon the season, there will be oranges, limes, papayas and bananas to pick from the trees and tomatoes and vegetables in the garden. Mr. Silvio Berlusconi is our opposite 'neighbour'; we have not seen much of him these past years. To the right is the exclusive Mill Reef resort. Nonsuch Bay is a haven for birdlife and many species of fish are to be found. Nevertheless, there are many attractions close by; famous Half Moon Beach 10 minute drive for body surfing, English Harbour with its historical buildings and docks, 25 minute drive, Falmouth, 20 minutes; rain forrest and zip linings 30 minutes, St. John the main town is 25 minute drive away. For the first time we spent our winter vacation in Antigua with friends; from 3 to 16 March 2018. Compass Point was recommended to us, and what a fantastic choice. The house is right on Nonsuch Bay, with its own private beach with sail boats ready for use; a really great location. The house is large and has everything that can be desired; pool, seats / lounging opportunity for all weather conditions (behind with a look at the beautiful garden when there is a lot of wind, but we were most on the sea side). According to the ladies, the kitchen has everything that is needed; nice coffee machine too, important for Dutch! In short, dream house and location; sure to be recommend! A & A and party Netherlands.

My extended family travelled here for two weeks over Christmas 2017. I am sorry to say that staying at Compass Point was a big letdown for us. While the location is superb, the house was simply sub-standard. The hot water never worked during our stay, the stove was in a state of disrepair, one of the beds collapsed repeatedly while my 100 pound grandmother slept, and the security gate did not work. This could have been acceptable, but we were only notified of the non-functioning items by email after we made our second payment. We are seasoned travelers and very tolerant of the challenges of life on the islands, but for over $20,000 US we expected much more. I have never posted a bad review, but now that we have waited 3 months for the owner to respond to our private communications, it is time to communicate the facts. Having no hopes water was especially poor accommodation.

Mr. Aas and his extended family(at times up to 15 people) from this region proved to be a big challenge. Our housekeeper had to cook, wash and clean for this party without a word of thank or tip. And yes, the electric part of the gate broke down early December; its replacement was stuck in customs due to a strike. If not, it would have been fixed before his arrival. Manually it worked fine. The stove is in good repair, other than the door spring is faulty; a pin holds it in place. The bed did not collapse but the wooden slats under the bed did move; not sure how this happened. Mr. Aas fails to mention that a workman came the same day. With so many people, providing hot water would be a challenge. The solar tank provides this with the addition of an electric heater. Again, as soon as the complaint was made, a technician was called to check things out. Mr. Aas did write on the 18th January and received a reply two days later. In his letter, he states: I understand that sometimes things like this happen, but we normally see some consideration in these situations. We would like you to provide a partial refund in compensation. A host who takes care of their guests gets a better review. This comment was taken to be some kind of "blackmail"; not nice considering every effort had been made for his stay. A hot meal and drinks f.e.were provided for the whole family on his day of arrival, but clearly not appreciated. The guest who followed made no complaints, and were extremely happy to be in Compass Point. As have all our other guests in the past.

Our whole family had a fabulous time. It had special qualities for those of all ages. Safe exploration of the grounds for the young to luxurious lounging round the pool in the evening for the older ones. Because your house is obviously a much loved family home it was so much nicer than any hotel holiday. Doldria was wonderful. She cooked delicious food for us a couple of times and was very helpful with local knowledge such as where to find a Calabash tree and Coal pots. Those of us who wanted went deep sea fishing, the Wahoo steaks cooked on the bbq were fantastic. Others went diving. Also Hobiecat sailing hired from NonSuch Resort a five minute walk away was a success. We even managed to catch a small Barracuda from the dock. Pet Puffer fish is looking well as is your resident Octopus. The children loved the pool and the reef and are now swimming like fishes as you predicted. Thank you again for a wonderful holiday from 3 generations of our family.

What a place....a real retreat. With views over Brown’s Bay and the popular Green Island this villa has everything you could need to make your stay perfect. When considering the ‘essentials’, this place exceeds expectations. Very comfortable bedrooms with storage, air conditioning and fans. A spacious and light lounge connected to a well-appointed kitchen. To highlight just how private the location is you have a choice of showering indoors or out! When eating in, you have the choice of views over the bay, or by the pond at the front of the property accompanied by more often than not hummingbirds. The villa is complemented by carefully thought out planting of palms, fruit trees, colourful shrubs and bushes over a variety of levels. Planting at the water’s edge softens the onshore breeze, but not so much that the palm fronds don’t sway. Essentials considered, there are the bits that make the property a bit special. Whether you prefer to sit on the beach or by the pool, you can do either. An infinity pool on the same level as the villa offers the best views over the bay but the private beach may be more to your liking. To swim in the sea is easy but some might prefer some shoes. There is a boat house and dock and all manner of ‘toys’ for the water. Green Island is within view; one of the most popular destinations for a day on the water. What is on offer each day in the bay varies but there is always something interesting going on to watch or sometimes take part in. Keelboat and dinghy racing/ sailing from the nearby Nonsuch Bay Resort, Kite surfing, spectacular super yachts anchored up for short stays and if you are very lucky you will see turtles – a real treat. As well as Nonsuch Bay, Harmony Hall is a short walk away for a drink, a delicious lunch or fabulous dinner. To make the most of everything Antigua has to offer, but maintain some distance from the hot spots, Compass Point is perfect!

We stayed here in February of 2014. The Villa is perfect. The Kitchen is modern and has everything you could want. There are lots of bedrooms. The outdoor space is perfect and you can open lots of doors and experience indoor/outdoor living. We spent most of our time outside by the pool. The pool is a wonderful infinity pool over looking the Bay. We were able to snorkle off the beach and saw lots of fish, star fish, coral and conch. Doldria was wonderful and prepared us breakfast on the days she was there - we felt quite spoiled. If you rent it you will need car. We took lots of day trips from the home. Also the specutacular Half Moon Bay Beach is very short drive away.

Our party have just come back from staying at this house and all seems like a dream ! The location is stunning - looking over the infinity pool to the sea beyond. the house is very well equipped - even down to a great coffee machine , TV , Wifi and massive of fridges ! The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms modern. There are many different outdoor 'rooms' for sitting or dining (indoor lovely as well) We had a great deal of fun on the little beach, mucking round on boats and snorketlling too - right on the door step. Comfort in paradise - what more can anyone want. The only sad thing is that we had to leave !

We spent the month of July 2013 at this beautiful villa during a business trip to Antigua. The home is lovely - perfect place to relax after a day working or on our days off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay including the pool and the beach! There is nothing lacking in the villa - great fully stocked kitchen, nice bathrooms (including the fabulous outdoor shower which is the only one we used), comfortable living areas and bedrooms. The grounds are lovely and there is a lot of outdoor living space. The housekeeper was a delight and really went out of her way to make us feel at home. She met us as the airport in a taxi to take us grocery shopping and then to the villa where she gave us a tour and explained everything. We really appreciated this effort on the part of both the owners and the housekeeper. She came Monday through Friday to clean, do laundry, and on the days we were home, she cooked our breakfast which was a treat! The villa is somewhat isolated - which we liked - so a car is definitely needed and it is a little bit of a drive to town, English Harbor, the airport.... The owners helped arrange a rental car for us. The rental company delivered the small four-wheel drive (recommended) vehicle to the villa on the day we arrived which was great. There are two resorts nearby - one of which was open and the other closed since we were there during the off-season. The only downside for us was that we don't cook and other than the nearby resort there weren't any places to eat that didn't require a relatively long drive. But for most people this wouldn't be a deterrent! Nor should it be! We highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants a home-away-from-home while on vacation.

Great to hear our guests had such an enjoyable time. A chef can easily be arranged to cook evening meals; bear this in mind for next time. Also, the housekeeper can prepare lunch for you.

I had a two week stay with friends at this fabulous villa to the East of the Island - a home from home in paradise. The facilities are of the highest standard making 'staying in' just as appealing as visiting the many antiguan attractions. An infinity pool and sun deck provide fantastic views across Nonsuch Bay. The luxurious living space is bright and breezy and feels part of the beautifully landscaped, tiered gardens. Bedrooms are all well-appointed with air conditioning throughout for those that like it and there is an option to shower outside for something a little more adventurous than an indoor bathroom. It was not far to the nearest beach as there is one at the bottom of the garden with a walkway to guide you. Nearby I enjoyed the hospitality and relaxed dining at Harmony Hall. Lazy lunches and delicious dinners, all with a great view of the bay and surroundings. The villa is securely positioned a short distance from the noisier locations on the island and perfect for groups of friends wanting to give themselves to a little bit of a treat. It feels exclusive and special - would love to return one day.

Two boys, ages 8 and 10, my wife and I stayed in this wonderful villa with the best view ever, stayed here for 3 weeks. Every other day we made an excursion somewhere on the island. Kayak -rental, tree-climbing, catamaran tour around the island, carnaval etc. We had an awesome time on the island and by the house. Great swimming in the pool and on your personal beach. Great boating and relaxing in the house. All of the amenities are in the house. Great kitchen, comfortable rooms, airco etc. We certainly go again.

About the neighborhood
Compass Point is situated on Browns Bay, Nonsuch Bay. The property is set in 1.8 acres; it is secluded yet with very close access to excellent restaurants. To the left, is the Nonsuch Bay resort; very good food and open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. You can also rent a sailboat there as well as have kite surf and/or sailing lessons. To the right is Harmony Hall, one of the best restaurants on the Island. They have a very nice art centre which is worth a visit. Harmony Hall also run a ferry to Green Island. Half Moon Bay is the most famous beach in Antigua, and this is a 10 minute drive away From the airport , the villa is a 25 minute drive; same distance from St. John's the capital and it also takes 25 minu...
