A View of Paradise
Just returned from a week's stay at Christmas with 4 adults and 2 small children, and I have to start my review by saying that the view from the house is beyond words - watching the changes in water color due to tides, clouds, etc, was absolutely amazing and something we all kept mentioning throughout our week's stay. The house is no shrinking violet, either! It is very well appointed and kept up - everything from higher-end pool chairs (and plenty of outdoor seating, too), nice sea kayaks, nice bed linens, very well stocked kitchen, etc. Truthfully, we did have a couple of issues while we were there, but James' (the owner) responsiveness and quickness to solve the issues was outstanding and show why this home gets 5-star ratings on almost every site. Joanes, the caretaker, is also wonderful and always answered his phone any time we had to call. The travel guide that James provided before our trip was extremely helpful, as this was our first visit to the Exumas. I would add to it a suggestion to visit Coco Plum beach for sand dollar hunting at low tide, and Tropic of Cancer Beach for the most beautiful beach to spend a day at. I did want to mention a couple of things that should not reflect poorly on the house but might be helpful to other travelers: 1) The roads from the main road (Queens Highway) to the house are VERY rough. We had to rent a mini van due to the size of our party; if we are fortunate enough to travel back here again, I would try to rent a jeep/truck. Navigating the roads in a van added about a 10 minute drive from the house to the main road. This is not the house's fault:) 2) The pool is beautiful but a little deep for small children. This is purely a personal preference, but I'd say kids need to be able to swim independently in order to use it (ledges in the shallow end making jumping in tough for small kids, and the shallow end is deep for an adult trying to hold a child). The ocean behind the house is extremely shallow, though, so a great alternative for swimming! If you just had a group of adults, this would be a complete non-issue, so I certainly wouldn't knock the rating on the house for this. 3) There is one adjacent home site under construction, so there are crews to be aware of. The other neighboring home is very close to Sea Breeze, so you do gamble a bit with what kind of renters you have there. The group who was renting it when we first checked in was not the best (lacking in neighborly etiquette, to put it nicely); another group checked in mid-week, and they did not bother us at all. You can't fault Sea Breeze for this - just luck of the draw! I hope folks don't the wrong idea from the tips I mentioned above; I've already recommended the house to friends and hope to return for a visit myself again!

Our second stay here and it gets better and better
We visited Seabreeze lodge for our second time and its still the wow factor and it just gets better and better. The pool is fabulous and the house has everything you could possibly want to have a great stay. It has a fabulous sea view and is situated in a fabulous spot on the island. Joanes the caretaker is a fabulous guy with a great knowledge of the island. I would recommend staying here

The trip of a lifetime!!!
My husband & I went with my cousin & her husband. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Unfortunately, we were there during Hurricane Joaquin. The house never felt like it was going to blow away, and the generator came on automatically. James let us stay a couple extra days for free because we were stuck in the house for a couple of our days. He's the best! He also sent Christmas cards & t-shirts saying "I survived Hurricane Joaquin." The house is decorated perfectly, and he spared no expense on the finishes & materials. We are going to try to come back again! Thanks, James! The people of Exuma are amazing! Everyone is so friendly & welcoming! One person in our party had a little too much fun at a bar in town, and men we didn't know brought him and our rental car home safely. They wouldn't even let us give them money for their trouble. If you go, eat at Shirley's and swim with the pigs!!! The house manager was great, too!!

Awesome vacation
The house was awesome. It was spacious and had everything that you might need. The pool was awesome and waking up every morning to the view of ocean was unforgettable. You will need rental car because nothing is within walking distance of the house (which is good if you like your privacy, which we did). It was awesome vacation and can't wait to go back there.

Absolutly Amazing
We stayed at sea beaze lodge from spending 3 nights in Miami back in december (im a little late in writing the review) what an amazing time we had. the place is everything we hoped it would be and more! views are perfect and the lazy chilled out atmosphere of the island is just what we wanted after 3 busy days in Miami. Joanas couldnt have been more helpfull and all the locals were so friendly. this really was a holiday of a life time and Seabreaze played the biggest part of it. We had a few BBQ's by the pool and lazy days in the sun. we cannot wait for our next visit. thankyou for letting us stay in your amazing house. Kind regards The castles

Trillions of Stars at Night, Awe-Inspiring Views of the Ocean, Luxurious Decor
Our second visit to Sea Breeze Lodge proved even more special than the first, which had been the previous year. The home has all the makings of fun, relaxation, cleanliness and spaciousness - all set in one of the most extraordinary vistas on earth. Shallow flats of pure, turquoise and emerald waters and white sands, terrific bonefishing and jaw dropping sunrises and sets, leading to full stress relief and return to nature. All this with the reassurance that the home offers all the contemporary gadgets and facilities to further uncomplicate life in Style and comfort. The caretaker is organised, pleasant, reliable and responsive, further adding to one's sense of bliss. The only damper is having to leave this haven of true living and beauty.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Definitely one of the best family trips we've had to date!! The house is everything and more than what is shown on the pictures. Beautiful is an understatement! The views of the ocean from the house are to die for. If you are looking for a nice relaxing getaway away from the city life this is definitely the place to stay! Joanes was excellent at getting us from the airport and settled in. He made sure that we had everything that we needed and he had the most welcoming personality! While here we took a day charter to see the swimming pigs, sharks and iguanas, this is a must see while on the island. Our family will be returning to Seabreeze Lodge without a doubt!

Heaven on Earth
You really have to stay at Seabreeze Lodge to appreciate how magnificent this place really is. The setting is truly breathtaking and I spent hours mesmerized looking out across the crystal clear blue waters of the flats towards the small islets. The house is very well designed and built and provides luxurious accommodation. Outside, the pool and pool area, complete with dinning area and BBQ / bar are perfect for lazy days by the pool enjoying the tranquility of this side of the Island. The house is in a quiet residential area but George Town and its amenities are only 10 mins away in a car. The Island is a place of charm as well as adventure with a stunning coastline, simply incredible beaches and small islands galore to visit and explore. The slow and easy pace of life there is something from a bygone era to those of us from North America of Europe.A boat trip exploring the Exuma Cays (chain of Islands) is a must where you will discover hidden beaches to picnic and all manor of tropical wonders and panoramas. Exuma has plenty of local resorts, restaurants, bars and shops to visit. James the proprietor is so helpful and professional and his Island representative Joanes is equally helpful - he will meet and greet you at the airport and take good care you. I took my wife here for her 50th Birthday and we were joined (gatecrashed!) by two of our 20 something daughters! We had the trip of a lifetime and would not hesitate to recommend Seabreeze Lodge to our friends.

Amazing Vacation!
We spent five days at this amazing house after our sailing adventure through the Exuma Islands. There were only four of us but the house can accommodate larger groups if needed. The views from the house are breathtaking! The water was a perfect temperature and the sand is so soft. We had a rental car (which is recommended) but it was nice to just hang out at the house too...in the swimming pool, lounge chairs, kayak or just swimming in the ocean water. James (the owner) and Joanes (the caretaker) checked in on us often and made sure we had everything that we needed. They were both so helpful and kind! We didn't have one single issue during our stay. We highly recommend a trip over to Stocking Island and the best food we had was at Emerald Bay Pub and Grill. We drove around the island to see all of the various beaches and we were never disappointed. We definitely hope to return on our next trip in the Exumas!! James, thank you so much for lending us your beautiful home!!

The complete package - would definitely recommend
My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Seabreeze Lodge. Not only was the home itself fantastic (very modern, clean, stocked very well, AWESOME POOL, beautiful views), but the service offered from James (owner) and Jonas (property manager and I probably spelled his name wrong -sorry Jonas!) was first rate. We will definitely be back!
