Freyja, our home, is situated in the quiet village of Stokkseyri at the south cost of Iceland. It is a 'must stay' place for people who love the nature, for birdwatching, hiking, riding, kajaking. Several tourist attractions like „the golden Circle“, geothermical areas, volcanoes and waterfalls are within a short distance. In order to see all these things without any stress, we recommend that you stay for several days.In mai 2017 we have put up a new simple kitchen and a second bathrooms for our guests, these are both situated in the next building. NEW ,we now have a hot pot that can be used by guests from 18.00 - 22.00 o'clock

Ferienwoche mit den Aquafit - Frauen vom 28. April bis 5. Mai 2018
Ich durfte bei Tina und Torfi eine wunderbare Woche verbringen. Ihr Haus ist farblich sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch habe ich das Haus in sehr sauberen Zustand vorgefunden. Man fühlte sich einfach sehr wohl bei Ihnen. Ihren Whirlpool im Garten durften wir sogar benutzen. Einfach herrlich in der Sternenklaren Nacht im Pool zu sitzen und den Himmel zu betrachten. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral, man kann von hier aus diverse Ausflüge unternehmen. Zum Beispiel Geysire, den Gulfoss-Wasserfall oder die Westmänner Inseln und vieles mehr. Ich kann ihre Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Bei einem weiteren Besuch in Island würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder bei ihnen wohnen.

small BnB in a convenient region in the South of Iceland with great hosts to feel home.
The BnB is approx. 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours from the International Airport. The sea is very close. The hosts are very nice and helpful and give very good advice.

Des hôtes Super intentionnés
Das war unsere Erste Erfahrung bei Einheimischen zum übernachten. Tina und ihre Mann waren sofort sehr freundlich. Sie haben uns sehr gute Tipp gegeben damit haben wir viele interessante und unbekannte Stelle besuchen. Was sehr wichtig für uns war ;Tina kann mehrere Sprache sprechen. Das Hilft.

About the neighborhood
One of the most famous lobster restaurants is in Stokkseyri, another one in Eyrabakki ( 10 Min drive) and a third one in Selfoss also 10 min drive. A lot of the tourist attractions are reachable within 10 minutes upto 1.5 hours.

You need a car to get around to all the attractions, but ofcourse you can also go by bus or even walk if you have time for months!!!

Our house is in Stokkseyri, south Iceland, approx 10 minutes drive from Selfoss and road number 1. There is a local bus, but it is ofcourse alot easier to have a car.
