We chose this cottage because of the reviews it had received and its proximity to the South Downs Way. It is a very comfortable house and very well-equipped. We spent a delightful week at Coppice Cottage at the beginning of August. The cottage is very comfortable and the conservatory is a great place to sit almost outside and enjoy, even if it's raining. Charming traditional, abundantly furnished and equipped cottage, of character and individuality, with more than the basics because it's frequently used as a holiday home by the owners and family. We receive many letters and emails from very happy and satisfied guests - which we are happy to pass on; we never ask directly for an electronic template review, but you are very welcome to complete one if you wish. (That explains why there are not many reviews currently on this accommodation, despite four seasons of very appreciative guests!)

Normal changeover day is Saturday, but we do try to accommodate flexible variations wherever possible.

The accommodation is priced at a flat rate throughout the year for 2 or 4 persons; but dependent on current costs and seasonal weather, a fuel surcharge may be applicable during the winter. If your booking is during October to April, please consult the owner about this. C/H normally not operational 1st Apr-1st Oct. For freshly laundered bed linen and towels available on arrival please see conditions below.

Railway: Petersfield: 3.7 mi
Ferry: Portsmouth: 18.6 mi
The property is in East Meon village which is reached off the A272 between Winchester and Petersfield. Road travel is recommended, but there is a very good express and stopping direct train service to Petersfield (4 miles) from either London Waterloo, Clapham Junction (1hr 15 mins) or Portsmouth (30 mins). <BR><BR>The line also has convenient links to Heathrow and Gatwick. From Petersfield there is a local bus service to East Meon: and to and from Winchester if required. Details of the road route will be sent after booking confirmation.
