Elenora's is named after the Elenora's falcons that sweep around the property. The ground-floor apartment is located at the edge of the traditional village Glossa, the 'balcony of the Aegean', providing a quiet spot that's still within 10 minutes' walk of shops, tavernas and bus stops/taxi ranks.

The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed and storage space, where we can additionally but a fold-away camp bed.

The large, fully-equipped kitchen has lovely sea views and a small table.

The shady terrace, surrounded by date palms and Mediterranean plants, is perfect for dining on and comes with a large table and four chairs.

Our guests also have access to our garden with its rose arbour - perfect for watching the sunset over S...

I stayed at Elenora's in July this year. I have to say it blew me away. The little apartment has everything you could possibly need...but the best thing about this beautiful little place was the breathtakingly stunning views- watching Elenora's falcons literally swoop by. The...More

About the neighborhood
Glossa is an unspoiled traditional Greek village with narrow streets made for donkeys rather than cars. It is the smaller of two towns in the island, the larger being Skopelos town, which is much more tourist - developed.

Glossa is the ideal location for people who want to explore on foot and we keep picture guides and walking maps in all our properties to help you make the most of the island. Many people love to walk to the little secluded beaches on the north side of the island where the buses don't go, and so they are very quiet, even at the height of summer. Normally you can be sure to find a little bay all to yourself.

The Old Wine Store is right at the end of the village, and so there is no passing traffic and it is very quiet. At
Getting around
A bus service runs from Loutraki, (the port of Glossa) with Skopelos town, stopping at all the main beaches on the south coast of the island. The service is regular in the summer months, however a car is useful to explore the hidden coves, quiet hills and isolated monasteries of the island.

Renting a car will give you much more access to the island's hidden spots. Although we don't have on-site parking, it's possible to park in the village, a 10-15 minute walk away.

How to get there
Airport: Skiathos: 9.3 mi
Ferry: Loutraki : 1.2 mi
In the summer months it is possible to get international flights to Skiathos and from there it is only 20 minutes on the ferry. These are run by Hellenic Seaways, ANES Ferries or Aegean Flying Dolphin. Out of season, you need to fly to Athens and get an internal flight Athens to Skiathos, operated by Olympic Air or Aegean Airways. Alternatively you can fly to Athens or Thessaloniki and get a bus to Evia or Volos and then a ferry to Glossa. We have factsheets available on request for travel to Glossa by these routes.
