We loved staying at Alex's house. We were there with friends (4 adults and 3 children) and it was the perfect size, well heated and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were good and there was plenty of hot water in the decent-sized bathrooms.
There was plenty of space to relax in the evenings and even a suana.
The house is very conveniently located with easy parking for our hire cars. We bought food at the supermarket in Samoens, an easy 10 minute drive away. We used the car to get to ski lifts, but the ski bus stops right outside the house, which we used one day when skiing down Europe's longest ski run to Sixt, which is up the road in the opposite direction.
We met the owners, who were very friendly and welcoming and answered all our questions promptly.
We would highly recommend Alex's place and hopefully will revisit ourselves...maybe even in the summer next time to experience the beautiful scenery at a different time of year!
