Excellent séjour , gite supérieur nos attentes
Location très confortable et d'une propreté irréprochable.
Très agréable jardin et calme absolu à .... 8 minutes a pied du pont romain.
Propriétaires très sympathiques et toujours prêt à aider.
Vaison est culturellement trés intéressante dans un région magnifique.

Quiet and relaxing location in a great setting
This rental is as described, on ground level, ideal for 2 persons. The kitchen is well equipped, with a dishwasher and clothes washer. The attractive and accessible grounds are extensive and well landscaped. The parking is secure and easy. It is a short walk into the medieval part of town.
Overall, this rental is worth a return visit. The hosts were very attentive and communicative.

Wonderful!
We have stayed at this rental for 2 years in a row and plan to stay there for our vacation next year as well.
The setting is exquisite. The view of the medieval village is unbelievable. Seeing this view is an amazing way to start and end everyday. The view from the apartment is also very nice with views of the valley below and of the fantastic garden.
The photos of the apartment itself are very accurate. The place is bright, sunny, and modern with every amenity we would want or need while travelling. The bedroom has a king-sized bed which is always a benefit and has lots of closet and storage space. The ensuite bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower and is a perfect size. It's nice to have the toilette separated from the shower and sink and have if off of the living room.
The main living room is spacious and open. The artwork is really tasteful and it's a very comfortable place to hang out. The kitchen has everything you might need and the dishwasher and washing machine are of good quality and are greatly appreciated.
Sabine and Laurent are very good hosts. They are accommodating and very nice people.

Perfect
This was a wonderful stop for us. As someone below said, it has everything you want in this beautiful region. It's lovely, comfortable and sparkling clean....and I do mean clean. Not just the perfunctory swipe. It was as though every surface had been detailed and polished. Everything worked well and was easy to use. The view was stunning, and the town was lovely. The town was easy to walk to, and we're not in the best condition. As others said, the walk back up was more work, but very doable. The owners could not have been nicer. They're easy to talk to, and they clearly enjoy having guests. They both speak excellent English.

Idyllic setting, great accommodation and very friendly hosts.
Situated in a peaceful area of Vaison la Romaine but within easy walking distance of the town, although it is all uphill on the way back! The gite was very clean and spacious and tastefully decorated. Sabine and Laurent were great hosts with a friendly welcome and were able to give us lots of advice on places to visit and eat. There were lots of goodies on our arrival and a lovely gift of lavender from their garden on our departure. We were made to feel extremely welcome.

Wonderful in so many ways
In an idyllic setting, this tranquil, comfortable and extremely well equipped gite is quite perfect. Sit on the terrace and enjoy breakfast overlooking the Vaison hills, laze in the garden, or walk into Vaison La Romaine, about ten minutes down hill. There's plenty of room to park and the gite is really well equipped, modern and very comfortable. Sabine and Laurent are very helpful and friendly and their delightful cat, Merlin (who is SO handsome) calls to say hello every now and again. Its location is perfect for visiting all the interesting places around, including the vineyards, beautiful villages and historic sites. Nearby, you can catch a train to Marseille, drive to Aix-en-Provence, Avignon or Le Pont du Gard. Brilliant! We love it here and will return.

A Haven in the historic hills of Vaison
What a delightful place this was - beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped, the gite was both comfortable and stylish, airy and calm. Sitting outside on the patio was peace in itself. A ten minute walk down into Vaison was a daily delight and the twenty minute haul up the hill good for the legs and the soul!
Knowing the area well, we were able to explore old haunts easily from this central, but out of the way place. Sabine and her husband are very friendly but not intrusive. The gite is decorated to a very high standard and there are plenty of comfortable places to relax, with lovely views of the garden. The bed is very cosy and we slept well. Electric shutters on the lounge and bedroom keep the place cool, although there is air conditioning.
The kitchen is well equipped and has all the things that make life easy - washing machine, dishwasher, induction hob and oven, coffee maker, Nespresso etc - all up to the mark.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were delighted to become friends with the owners' charming cat, who visited us daily for a stroke and a purr!
Easy, secure parking is available at the side of the property and is in the shade.

Perfect place
Could not fault this place. Everything worked, it was clean and in a very pleasant location right next door to a vineyard (and very nice wine). A 15 minute walk to town which has great shops and restaurants and the walking in the area is superb.

Perfect location!
This little apartment is perfect for exploring the area - it's well-equipped, really comfortable and incredibly clean and well-presented. Vaison la Romaine is a beautiful town - we did a lot of touring but found the old town there difficult to beat! Thank you Sabine and Laurent for making us feel so welcome - we will be recommending you!

An amazing apartment
Sabine and Laurent went above and beyond to make our two week visit to there beautiful apartment a memorable experience. The apartment is very well appointed. The gardens and view of the medieval town are spectacular. Thank you for making us feel like family and we hope to visit again soon. xx
