Traditional Provençal house with beautiful views over vineyards and Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles.

Situated in a small hamlet 3km from Vaison-la-Romaine and Villedieu. Fully equipped, owners have had the house for 10 years. Swimming pool, extensive outside area with outside dining and BBQ, large living area with TV, wifi, etc.

The area is famous for wine, Roman remains, cycling. There is also horse riding just down the road.

The house is private and quiet, with wonderful views. It is ideal for exploring Provence, and there are many wonderful villages and sites to visit. We have had many guests who have returned time and again, including a couple who will come next year for the seventh!

About the neighborhood
Vaison has great charm. It has a range of great shops, including a very good organic bakery on the Place Montfort main square, and several lovely restaurants and café terraces. The market every Tuesday morning usually fills the centre of the town with a riot of Provençal fabrics and pottery, sometimes artisan made wrought iron garden furniture, plants and flowers, or olive oil from Nyons, lavender, basketware, jewellery, clothes, and more. The farmers market is a feast of stalls piled high with gleaming fresh fruit and vegetables, a dozen different kinds of olives, mountain sausage, hams and cheeses.

Vaison is of course famous for its Roman ruins and amphitheatre, well worth a visit along with Vaison's 'old town.' The amphitheatre is often host to a range of fabulous concert...
