4 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 7
Beziers, Herault, Occitanie
This fully refurbished traditional stone town house is in the centre of the medieval village of St Genies de Fontedit, providing spacious, comfortable accommodation for up to 7 people.

It offers an excellent holiday base with its location between the Mediterranean, the Cevennes, the Camargue and the Pyrenees.

Unusually the property is built into the flying buttress of the 14th Century Church and it combines modern amenities with traditional features such as stone walls, a farmhouse mantle piece, tiled floors and exposed beams. With its solid walls and shutters, the interior is a cool retreat from the strong summer sun.

The village has its own Boulangerie, Epicier, Bar, Tabac, Post and Garage. There is a small Thursday Market while the Supermarket, the Pizzeria, the Wine Museum and Tourist Office are 2 km away

We very much enjoyed staying here and it was an ideal base for touring the area. We were there to pick up our daughter from University but arrived early so we could have 5 days of touring around. August, of course, is the French holiday season, as we discovered on the one and only day we decided to head for...

We stayed here both as a holiday let and while our own recently bought house was being restored. It was incredibly convenient, and the owners were very helpful when we needed an extended stay. The house is right under the village church tower, and has real character. - spacious and comfortable, a rather traditional holiday home without frills, but everything...
