Cosy Affleck self catering chalet has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere, is furnished to a high standard and is fully equipped for up to four guests and has everything needed for an enjoyable holiday. Affleck chalet - Sunny aspect; Open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area; Two comfortable bedrooms; An ideal retreat for friends, or family; A great base to discover the beautiful Scottish Highlands. Outdoors - A woodland garden, perfect for enjoying a picnic lunch or an evening glass of wine, as well as being a fabulous place for children to play; Spot the regular garden visitors – pine marten, red squirrels, woodpeckers, badgers... Local area and visitor destinations - Reelig Glen Tall Trees Trail, just a short stroll away, will be a favourite for all of the family and four-legged friends alike; Ideally situated for visiting local attractions - Loch Ness, Glen Affric, Urquhart Castle, Culloden battlefield, the Black Isle; Perfect location for taking part in a wide range of outdoor activities; A short drive away from Beauly and Inverness city shops, take-aways, restaurants and entertainment! Dog Friendly Chalet - Dogs Stay for Free! Four-legged friends are most welcome at Moniack Lodges - up to two dogs accommodated by arrangement. See our booking contract on our website for additional dog and guest information, before booking. NOTE - Affleck's Garden: A stone dyke (low wall) & gate form the western (roadside) boundary of the garden. There are fences to the southern & northern boundaries. There is, however, no fence at the water's edge; the stream (Moniack Burn) forms the eastern boundary of the garden - therefore, supervision of children is particularly important within the woodland grounds and, especially, when close to the waterway.More

Getting around
The best way to view the Highlands is by car - many of our guests take day trips to the Isle of Skye, passing the photogenic Eilean Donan castle along the way, visit the local Black Isle beaches, villages and eateries, walk in Reelig woodland, just on the doorstep, or enjoy the highly popular North Coast 500 driving and cycling tour route - taking them to far-flung, pristine north and west coast beaches, more castles, deep lochs and huge skies!
