C4 is favorably situated about 60 m from the restaurant and pool area, far enough to be conveniently close but not bothered by any noise.
The villas have about 110 m2 covered area, with 3 double-bed bed rooms suitable for 6 guests. The master bed room has en-suite bath-room. In addition there is an identical shared bath-room. Baby cots can be provided if this is needed. All bedrooms and the main room have a ceiling fan plus air condition.
The C row offers a convenient shade as well as rain protection on either the roofed front or back terrace as the main terrace is located on the north side of the villas and the backside terrace is located on the south side. This makes the terraces ideal for breakfast or a private meal regardless of the weather and time of day. It is also a convenient place to stay in the shade should you have to work a bit in your "home" office. C4 has a roofed terrace on the back side with full privacy and a nice view to the forest. Here you can get shade until mid day.
They are furnished with a small kitchen, allowing for cooking and private meals. The resort can provide grocery upon order at the restaurant, or meals delivered to the villa if you prefer to eat in privacy.
COMFORTABLE BEDS
All 3 bedrooms have comfortable king size beds, with mattresses that are soft and comfortable to a standard you normally only find at expensive hotels in this part of the world.
AIR CONDITIONING
All rooms have a separate A/C unit and ceiling fan.
SMART TV AND WIFI
The villa has a 40" Smart LED Samsung TV installed and connected to the independent Wi-Fi. A HDMI cable allows for connecting your private device to the TV. A Netflix account is available for you to use.
EATING
Most guests prefer the restaurant on the resort which is known to have the best food on the island and is situated only 30m from the beach. The prices for food and drinks are amongst the lowest you will find in this area. Excellent Thai food is served here and is the main focus, but also European food and children's menu is available.
The main pool is located next to the restaurant, allowing the children to play and swim while being watched by the adults from the restaurant. There are also a children's pool located between row A and B.
The resort has a garden connecting the pool and restaurant area with the beach in a discrete manner without obstructing the sea view. A sand volley ball court and mini-golf track is integrated adjacent to the beach area. Pine trees provide a welcome shade in the beach area. In the garden you will also find table-tennis.
A small beach bar offers refreshments of many kinds to the guests who enjoy the sun and the beach through the day at favorable prices. The location is ideal to enjoy a drink whilst watching the sunset over the Mandanan sea, and the observant guest can sometimes see dolphins playing at sunset.
The beach itself offers very shallow water and is sheltered by nearby reefs and the island to the north, so the waves are generally never tall and no strong currents occur. This makes it ideal for children and for swimming in general. In the winter season jelly-fish is rarely observed, making it safe and comfortable. The beach is about 18 km long, and is ideal for long or short walks or running. Most of the time this will be in full privacy, as the area is not very developed. So after about half an hour walk north bound you will find yourself alone most of the time. In the morning before about 9 a.m. the beach has shade, making it ideal for those who want to run with comfortable temperature and no need for sun protection lotion.
Those seeking other tourists can walk southward and after half an hour one will get to the majority of the other resorts and hotels on the island. They are situated in a row by the beach. Our guests are welcome to have meals on these resorts and the independent restaurants in the area should so be desired. There are also some independent restaurants within walking distance.
In Paradis Villas we offer private massage in the garden area, conveniently and discretely located next to the beach and pool.
The resort reception also helps with organizing car, scooter and bike rental as well as guided tours or excursions.
KAYAK RENTAL
Our C4 guests can borrow our two kayaks. One sea kayak for one person, and one fishing/river/fun kayak for 2 persons is available.
WIND SURF BOARD
In C4 we also have a wind surf board. Rental of this can be negotiated for guest who have experience.
The villas as per resort policy are included in the hotel standard service at a low fee. This implies beds will be made up, all rooms cleaned, towels replaced and dishes washed, etc. daily. Laundry service is also offered.
In Koh Kho Khao, there are no water sports. In the resort there is no disco or night club. So the sound of the waves is only interrupted by the sound of birds or an arbitrary long-tail boat used by the fishermen harvesting the sea in the coastal areas. The location has a temperature (28 - 32 deg C) that combined with the breeze makes the climate very comfortable to live in. Not too warm, not too cold - just right! The sea temperature will be around 30 deg C.
Those who enjoy a drink or two in the evening, do so in good company in the beach bar in a discrete manner. So there are no conflicts between adults and families with small children. The party factor is minimal, and compatible with the family factor which is high. Due to the layout of the garden area, noise from playing children does not bother the adults that came here to relax.
For those seeking adventures, the proximity to Khao Lak and its multitude of activity and shopping offers allows the possibility of a break from the laid-back atmosphere at Koh Kho Khao. Most companies that offer excursions such as diving will also have a pick-up service from the Nam Khem peer. The resort management will organize transport to Nam Khem for you, so you are in good hands all the time and do not have to be a great navigator. Since many of the guests are house owners, they know the area well and can give good advice on what is nice to do and provides value for the money.
One example is diving. The islands and waters to the west of Koh Kho Khao offer some of the best diving locations in the world. A few days of active live-aboard diving is perfect to combine with the lazy days at the resort. Cost is low and everything you need is provided for you. The dive masters are professional, and the safety standard is excellent. You can take the PADI divers certificate on-board or onshore.
Our guests, in particular the ones with children, find this place unique and hard to find elsewhere. The feeling of safety and comfort combined with the experience of great nature, the piece and quite, the great climate - it makes you want to stay! And they tend to come back. So plan for a long vacation here. It is sad to leave too soon... The comfort is that you can come back and rent the same villa again. It will soon feel like a second home.
It has turned out that our older children, the teenagers, also has taken the liking of the campus. The fact that there is WI-FI coverage on campus, even at the beach aids a lot to this... The teenagers can hang out with each other and make new friends, surf as much as they want on the internet, spend as much time as they feel like with their family, and for them it is like an all-inclusive experience on a scenic location. The parents feel they are safe and do not have to watch them, so the teenagers get a sense of freedom while being safe. A certain winner!

It’s already our 4th time in the Villa, this speaks for itself. We love this beautiful place for relaxing. The Villa, the stuff, the restaurant, the beach, Thai-Massage and the quiet environment is perfect for relaxing holidays. I can highly recommend the Villa and Kho Kho Khao.

Wonderfull and peaceful place right by the beach
Beautiful nature, clean beaches & clear ocean. Perfect for couples or/and family. The villa is on a an island but easy access by small boat or/and car ferry. The resort management will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the villa, excellent service. Fantastic and cheap food in the restaurant, that belongs to the villas. You can order take-away up to the house in the evening as well, which I did a few evenings. Perfect for walking long distances on the beach for some exercise. They got a very good spa on the resort as well, for very good oil massage or pedicure/manicure, they even braids your hair if you want too. Nice little clothes shop where the ferry arrives on the island for shopping bikinis, bags and nice beach dresses. I have visited Thailand many times since my first visit late 80s. This is what Phuket; Karon and Kata beach was in late 80s, clean, clear water and peaceful, excellent place! I visit Phuket in March 2019 (Patong, Karon & Kata beach), was shocked how many people, car and noise, still ok but not the paradise it used to be. I will say this villa and resort is what Phuket used to be back in the 80s.

Beutifull and quite place
Fantastic beaches and nature on the Island. Excellent service at the resort and good prices for the spa/massage. Very good and cheap food at the restaurant. Perfect for families with kids, nice swimming pool for the kids. The resort also arrange day trips to other Island or shopping and shightseeing to the main land. Or you can rent a motor bike or car easy.

It was our 3rd time in Villa C4 and it was relaxed and perfect as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant is delicious, we will come back to KKK and Paradis Villas surely. Thanks Gunnar and Noi for the perfect support of booking.

Lovely villas but beware of extra service charges
Stayed here for 4 nights unaware that you have to pay for cleaning of 100Baht pp per day regardless of whether you wanted the villa cleaned or not, extra for towel changes and electricity, despite having already paid for the villa when we initially booked it!
The villas have plenty of amenities, but are over priced 450Baht for oil
Massage etc.
Wouldn’t stay here again on the principle of having to pay the extra hidden service charges.

Hello 446Sha, it seems like you booked this stay directly from the resort and not via TripAdvisor involving me (the owner)? I don't have this rental in my records. I always state the resort service fee, both in the pricing notes and in separate mail we send with the booking confirmation. Did you not get this specified from the resort booking rep.? I can add that the fee is used to pay all the employees running the resort, keeping the garden, pool, beach, etc, and is not so dependent on the cleaning service. Unlike many other resorts this one pays the employees full 12 months vages so they have a dependable income as well as vacation. That you have contributed to now.

Best holyday ever... Paradis Villa
Paradis villa was the perfect holiday destination for our family. The location right at the beautiful beach invites to relaxing days; swimming, massage, mini-golf and long lunches.
The villa was fully equipped and had everything we wanted. It is ideal for families with children; we found it peaceful and safe.
The restaurant is charming with tasteful food and great service.
We enjoyed our stay and we will come back soon.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, sowohl in der Anlage als auch in dem Haus. Sehr ruhig, hier kann man wirklich die Seele baumeln lassen. Wunderschöner Strand, lange Spaziergänge sind möglich, traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge...
Allerdings gibt es auch einige Kritikpunkte. So werden täglich 200 Bath zusätzlich abgezogen, auch der Stromverbrauch wird extra berechnet, wir haben z.B. für 6 Tage 40 Euro gezahlt, ohne allzuoft die Klimaanlage laufen gelassen zu haben.
schön, daß auch eine kleine Küche im Haus gibt. Nur leider ist die Küche Ausstattung unterdimensioniert. Und der Einkauf für Lebensmittel kann auch nur auf dem Festland getätigt werden.

Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich im Paradis Villa Resort wohlgefühlt haben. Ich kann vielleicht etwas klären. Das Resort wird getrennt von der Villa geführt. Wir haben 23 Angestellte, die wir alle 12 Monate im Jahr bezahlen müssen. Wir betreiben eine Fair-Play-Operation. 200 THB / Tag decken diese und alle anderen Abonnementkosten ab. Zu diesem Zweck erhalten die Gäste den Hotelstandard und die kostenlose Nutzung der Einrichtungen. Strom in Thailand ist teuer und wir müssen auch eine Notstromeinheit betreiben. Sie lebten in B9, der C4 hat eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Lebensmittel können an der Rezeption zu einem sehr guten Preis bestellt werden, so dass man nicht öfter als einmal innerhalb von zwei Wochen zu einem Geschäft gehen muss. Willkommen zurück!

A child friendly beach hide-away
This villa is very close to the beach and there is a good size swimming pool. The staff are friendly and the villa owner responds quickly to any questions. We had a nice time, but found the location a bit too out of the way for independent exploring. It is probably better suited to those who just want to laze by the pool/beach and go on organised trips.

Just a five minute boat ride from the Takua Pa area of Phang Nga province (Nam Kem peer), the relatively large island of Ko Kho Khao (pronounced kaw koe cow) doe look very different from the mainland. However, for those looking for an escape thats not as remote as nearby Ko Phra Thong but not as busy as Khao Lak or Phuket, Kho Khao is worth a visit. The islands long golden beaches are the main draw, and aesthetically these are similar to the beaches of the Khao Lak area further south. The waters are slightly murky due to silt and lack the pristine tropical turquoise color found elsewhere, but the beaches still make for great swimming and long, romantic sunset walks.While the island still feels like something of a secret place, more resorts are gradually popping up, and Kho Khao is increasingly included on the tourist radar. As of now, however, its still a markedly sleepy affair — the perfect place to enjoy seclusion without sacrificing quality, comfortable resorts and an adequate selection of foreigner oriented services. Ko Kho Khao is a large island characterized mostly by flat, grassy sand flats towards its center and a sprawling area of mangroves and canals to the east. Historically the island was one of the first landing spots for ancient settlers who later spread across southern Thailand and Malaysia, and later it was a popular stopping off point amongst Chinese and other traders during the Takua Pa areas heyday as a tin mining center around the 15th century.To the northwest theres an old, overgrown air strip that was used by the Japanese during World War II. Other sights and activities include the small but pretty Toan Thong Waterfall to the northeast, a bird watching tower in the north center, a kayaking operation that runs excursions into the northern and eastern canals, and diving in the area with the islands only dive operation — Kho Khao Diving. A paved two lane road runs straight from Baan Pak Koh all the way to the islands northern coast, and everything on the island is located down a side soi off this road. Most of the high end resorts are situated along the southern stretch of beach known as Pak Kon with a solid mid-range spot a bit further north on Bang Neang beach. Further north is Nok Nan beach, which is the most remote stretch of sand and doesnt feel too different than the ultra-secluded beaches of Ko Kho Khaos northern neighbor, Ko Phra Thong. Towards the north its also possible to explore the dirt paths by motorbike or bicycle that wind deep into the mangrove areas to the east. The closest thing to a village would be Baan Pak Koh, but there are a few scattered clusterings of homes and a couple of small schools found throughout the island.Due to its flat landscape Ko Kho Khao was devastated by the 2004 Tsunami, and many locals chose not to return and rebuild. Parts of the island have a forgotten and haunted feel, especially at night.Koh Kho Khao is generally not much developed, in particular in the northern half, and has a18 km long beach on the west and north side, where it is easy to find a spot of your own. It is perfect for walking barefoot while enjoying the piece and quite, the seclusion and the wildlife. No water sports disturb the experience of being in unspoilt nature. Sea eagles hunt for fish and the dolphins play in the sunset. The water near the beaches is shallow and almost always still with minimal waves, and it is therefore very safe for children.This area is a real escape in the otherwise busy and touristic Thailand of today. The people are laid back and friendly, and after a short while one feels like one has known them for a long time. There is no need to worry about crime or dangerous traffic. This is the place for those who want to relax and enjoy the nature while having the comfort of living in a resort. The beach is always nearby, and it is only a short trip to the busy Khao Lak or the genuine town of Tacua Pa.

The best thing to do here is to rent s scooter to get the mobility you want. It is also possible to rent a car in Khao Lak at an affordable cost. The resort has two cars that can bring you to locations on the island upon need.

Fly to Phuket, drive to the Nam Khem peer half an hour north of Khao Lak. Take ferry or long tail boat to the Koh Kho Kao peer, drive 5 km to location. The estate manager organises the complete door-door air-port pick-up and return for you at a good price. So no need to worry about this part.
