We had a delightful stay at this villa (real name La Pietra Verde or Green Stone Villa). Michelina the agent prepared us with kindness and professionalism; and the owners, Michele, Tina and Pasquale are warm, generous folk who's love for the place shines through. The location is very good. views of the Amalfi coast and the sea (just) from the idyllic garden and even better views from the front gate. We enjoyed the gardens, especially Michele's beloved vegetable plot from which he invited us to take produce for our meals every day: tomatoes to die for and generous bottles of Michele's wine . Sorrento and all the breath-taking sights and of the peninsula from Naples to Capri are accessible. But be warned all you hear about the challenges of driving on the Amalfi are true.The amenities (small supermarket, bar and cafe) in Colli di Fontanelle are basic but adequate.

This villa surpassed expectations. The extensive gardens are beautiful, full of colourful plants and fruit trees with the addition of a fruit and vegetable garden from which we picked really good tomatoes. The pool is lovely, a good size, not too small, perfectly fine for our group of five adults. Inside the villa, the rooms are even better than the photos really show: good size bedrooms, decent, well-equipped kitchen, shower room and bathroom. Good quality bath towels and bed linen, towels for the pool also provided, which villas don't always provide. We had a wonderful time in the villa, we were all sorry to leave after a week, wish it could have been two or even a month!
