A fabulous place! We were a mixed age family group who had a fantastic time in this glorious house with its large garden full of interesting, imaginatively thought out areas of entertainment. The children enjoyed the football field with goals, table football, table tennis, tree trunk story corners, small playground and of course the pool. The house was beautifully presented with everything we found we needed easy of access. Many thanks, Luca and team!

All I can say is what a gorgeous property.
Great family space lovely gardens overlooking the vineyard.
Fantastic pool perfect for our group which totalled 7.
Also please do try luca’s Wine it’s amazing.
Our family loved the table tennis area the outside eating area as well as the huge internal family dining area.
I could not of asked for anything else a truly wonderful family holiday home.

Wonderful place!
We really loved the beautiful house and the big private garden. A big table outside to have family dinners and close to the beautiful little town of Salsomaggiore. Totally relaxing for a great family holiday! We hope to come back one day! Thanks Luca and family for your hospitality 😃

Lovely house and garden
We stayed here for a week and were delighted with everything.
We received such a warm welcome from the family and enjoyed seeing Fernando during the week. Thanks Fernando for the eggs and wine!
The house is lovely and spacious and the garden is excellent with great facilities and lots of space. Our kids loved the zipwire, pool, table tennis, table football and football goals in the garden!
The house is not in a very tourist area but there are lots of good places to visit nearby.

Country refuge
A group of 6 of us (three couples) recently spent a week at La Davana and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed by the owner Luca and his father- and mother-in law (Fernando and Graziella) who had us quickly settled in the property. The house was just as we expected from the listing and proved a very comfortable and well located venue. We were particularly impressed by the friendliness and support from Fernando and Gratsiella despite the fact that we some no italian and they no english.
Would highly recommend this property for groups or families.

Absolutely Stunning !
Holiday began with a late evening, very warm welcome from Luca and Monia who are lovely, lovely people. The house is huge and beautifully furnished with all you need in the way of comfort and domestic needs. The garden is also huge with a large pool, flying fox, ping pong table and fooosball table to keep younger family members busy ! A large table resides below a lovely pergola and is a great place to cook on the bbq and eat and drink the evening in. If you are lucky you may meet Monia`s father Fernando, who is a simply lovely and charming man. He and my elder son(21) got on famously in-spite of no common language ! We had a simply fantastic week at La Davana, and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Book it now and go ! You will not be disappointed.

fantastic house, inside and out!
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. we travelled with 4 kids ( 14, 14, 12 and 6). it was gorgeous instead, with very spacious rooms and very well kitted out - everything you needed (and more). the photos do not do this house justice. outside was fantastic and the kids loved it - the older kids enjoyed the table tennis in the shade and the younger ones loved the zip wire. and of course the pool
we have stayed in many houses/villas over the years as that is the kind of holiday we always enjoy and this is one of the best houses we have stayed in.
Local towns very attractive too. plenty of supermarkets very nearby.
the hosts were very welcoming, and good communication throughout the whole process. Thanks again!

Lovely house, great for kids
Had a great week here with a family of 5. Lovely spacious house; 4 bedrooms, 3 double and 1 twin; 2 bathrooms, 1 on ground floor with shower and 1 upstairs with bath. Great outdoor space, especially for kids; barbeque, football area, table tennis, bar football and a zip wire across garden. 5 minutes drive from 2 local towns, Fidenza and Salsomaggiore where there are lots of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. 2 restaurants even closer though not walking distance. Owner and family very helpful. Would recommend for a family or large group.

Ponte di Sant'Ambrogio
Tre giorni trascorsi in questa villa da sogno, arredata con stile, tenuta meravigliosamente e completa di tutto. I ragazzi si sono divertiti giocando a calcio e a ping-pong nell'enorme giardino mentre noi ci siamo riposati davanti al camino scoppiettante. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare Salsomaggiore e le colline del parmense o anche Grazzano Visconti e Castell'Arquato, nel piacentino.
Tutto ciò che serve si trova a meno di 3 minuti di auto.
Ritorneremo certamente in altra stagione per girare in bici i bellissimi dintorni!!!
