This family run B&B is located in the countryside right between Cortona and Montepulciano, strategically connected to the best touristic itineraries of Southern Tuscany and Umbria. The property was originally a watchtower and its oldest part comes from the Middle Age. It is known that Santa Margherita (patron Saint of Cortona) lived here in the XIII century. The little chapel downstairs is stil a holy place. The owner is a wood sculptor and his artworks are spread all through the house: this is a place for art lovers!
The bed and breakfast has 4 double rooms (first floor) that can be rented together as an apartment for a party of 8 guests , each room has ensuite bathroom. The family lives in the house and is happy to help you book wine tasting, cheese tasting, cooking classes or give any recommendation for typical trattorias or traditional local producers On the arrival day, a welcome drink on the tower is a special moment to appreciate the perfect landscape that surrounds the property and get to know the hosts sharing the Tuscan sunset.

The property is in the countryside, but easily accessible (just off the main road) and close to most interesting tourist destinations of both Southern Tuscany and Umbria: within a 20 minute drive you can find the wonderful hill top town of Montepulciano with its ancient wine cellars, and Cortona, surrounded by its thousand year old Etruscan walls.
Castiglione del Lago, by lake Trasimeno, 14 km distance. For active vacation lovers, there are bicycle paths (Sentiero della Bonifica e Pista ciclabile del lago Trasimeno) very close by.
The Orcia valley, with its jewels Pienza, San Quirico D’Orcia and Bagno Vignoni, is at a 30 minute drive.
