Our stay with the extended family was all too brief (just 3 nights) but it gave a luxurious weekend in a beautiful modern Villa overlooking Lake Como. It’s an easy and safe 10 - 15 minute stroll into Menaggio with plenty of restaurants and a ferry terminal for trips afield. The Villa has bicycles for use and plenty of parking space so whether you come by taxi or hire a car there are options. The en-suite bedrooms worked really well and our 6 month old granddaughter loved the spacious lounge as a play area - a cot and high chair were provided.

From the moment the six of us walked in and saw the lake from the doorway, we were enchanted with Villa Navalia. Its location in Menaggio is perfect in two ways -- it is at the center of the lake with easy boat access to Bellagio, Varenna and all the sights, and being just outside the city center it provides enjoyable privacy. That privacy meant that we walked a lot (10-12 min to groceries and 20 minutes to the ferry), but the walk was mostly flat and provided good exercise. The villa is attractively modern with clean lines and very nice furnishings, and it is very well-maintained. The three beds and ensuite baths provided a good combination of privacy and gathering space for three couples, and the private balconies with lake views for each bedroom were a special treat. It was very nice to have individual air conditioning controls in each room. The deck provides spectacular views of the lake from morning into the night, and we enjoyed breakfast, cocktails and evening reflection there. The kitchen has a full array of equipment, and we especially appreciated having quality stemware, a big deficit of most other villas and apartments we have rented. We should note that it is not easy to accommodate three active cooks in the kitchen at once, but we were able to manage that without difficulty. Navalia was the perfect place for our Como vacation, and we would certainly return enthusiastically whenever we visit Como again.

Absolutely stunning villa in a perfect location in Menaggio. This 3 Bedroom 3 1/2 Bath Villa was wonderful. Renovated beautifully, spacious rooms and fully equipped with all amenities. We are looking forward to returning. Thank you Laura for everything! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay here, great apartment and only 10 minutes walk into the centre of Menaggio. Large rooms, big beds, welcome aircon as it was hotter than we expected! The view is stupendous, what a brilliant place. Laura was very helpful and arrived promptly, we were delighted to be able to arrive early and leave late. A few minor niggles (tiny mugs, no washing up cloth, missing corkscrew) but these had no impact on a fab stay. Thanks Laura!

The Villa was perfectly suited for the three couples in our group, each having its own bedroom and en suite bathroom. The open floor plan of the living /dining/ kitchen was very inviting, and provided amazing views onto the Lake. Laura was wonderful in preparing for our arrival, and helpful to coordinate excursions and other information. The location of the Villa is just outside of the center of Menaggio but an easy walk ( 15 mins), bike ride (8 mins) or car ride ( 2 mins) into the center of town with shopping, restaurants, etc. The only minor item I'd mention is that one of the bathrooms contains a tub and a handheld shower, but no enclosure or surround making it a little difficult to shower without splashing the floor area. This is very minor and would not change my plans to choose this Villa again.

It doesn't get much better than Villa Navalia Penthouse! I have rented many villas in Italy and this villa was the most perfect. It has been completely renovated and is beautiful in a minimalist and yet high-end way. The views of the marina, lake, and mountains are spectacular. We found the location of the villa to be perfect. It was an easy walk into town or to the ferry, but we were also able to use a local taxi service when we preferred not to walk. Menaggio was a great base for us to explore Lake Como. We also enjoyed having the little bar directly across the street where we had breakfast most days. Finally, owner Laura was very easy to deal with and extremely helpful during our trip planning and during our visit. We hope to return to Villa Navalia.

Great visit to Lake Como enhanced by our stay at Villa Navalia. Great location, a bit of a walk to town center with great views. The Villa itself was very clean and equipped well for the stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect size and the balconies provided stunning views of the mountains and the lake. We would recommend this site to all visitors. It's a lovely modern villa with all the amenities. Laura was great to work with and very responsive. She helped us find a personal chef for one evening which was fabulous. There were 3 couples and we all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. One person thought the bed was too hard. Villa was very clean and check in was very easy. The view from the villa was magnificent!

A modern, beautiful, clean villa right on Lake Como. Three bedrooms, three and 1/2 baths worked great for three couples. Landlord close at hand if needed. Arranged for private chef Johann who came and prepared a fabulous dinner on one evening. Well worth the splurge. Parking for 2 cars - very important as parking is not easy in Menaggio. Thanks to Laura for making our Lake Como holiday special. Absolutely highly recommended!

What a fabulous place, so clean and crisp, tastefully decorated with the most amazing view of the lake. Stayed here with my family and sisters family. We throughly enjoyed the villa, great size for 6 adults fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds with beautiful crisp white bedding, fab showers with fluffy towels. The dining table is great for everyone to sit round and enjoy a meal whilst opening up the doors and soaking up the amazing views, breathtaking. A short 15-20 minute walk/stroll in to the main town, some fabulous places to eat and drink. Also where the lido is, if you fancy sunbathing and a swim. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace, unfortunately at times it was a bit noisey as the house underneath was being hired by a couple getting married so lots of pre wedding celebrations. Has not but us off from re-booking in the future. Bikes provided if you fancy a ride, great fun.
