Absolute Tuscan gem. Our second visit previously in 2013. Set in breathtaking scenery. Every modern convenience. Wifi in house and extended to garden and pool. Satellite TV , excellent sound system, X box... Raphael visited daily with fresh produce from his holding, beautiful tomatoes, lettuce, olive oil, etc.. Only 2 hours from Rome airports, a car is essential... 6 mins...

We spent a week in the villa. Two families with small kids. The house was spacious, the garden great and Raffaelo took good care of us bringing fresh vegetable each day. The pool is clean and the view is breathtaking. Supermarket is 5 minuets away. One to two hours drive to all major places in Tuscany.

The view from Casal Bancospino is breathtaking; typical Tuscan scenery all around. It feels isolated but you're only a 5 min drive to the supermarket and restaurants. The house itself is attractively furnished with typical rustic Tuscan furniture and split onto two levels so that two families travelling together could eat separately if they wished. A good sized pool adjoins...

About the neighborhood
AREZZO<BR>With less than 100,000 people, Arezzo is the largest town in the area. It claims many famous sons, including the poet Petrarch and the architect and biographer Vasari. The town changed hands many times in Medieval and Renaissance days, but managed to keep its focus; still today it remains a prosperous center of the jewelry business. The highlight is the central Piazza Grande, surrounded on two sides by the crenelated façades of Gothic houses and on the other two by stunning Renaissance masterpieces. These include a loggia designed by Vasari, now the site of the renowned monthly antique market. Peeking into one corner of the square is the apse (or rear façade) of a 12th-century Romanesque church which fronts on a nearby street. In addition to the monthly market, Arezzo has a... more
