Luxury Sunset Villa is located in a private residence minutes' walk from the beaches. Quiet and peaceful, yet only five minutes ( by car ) from the famous Arab-Norman city of Cefalu. UNESCO world heritage centre. The villa has easy access to all amenities, by car, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The villa benefits from its pools, for adult and children. There is a spacious garden with stunning sea views, furnished with elegant tables and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With three double en suite bathroom and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Unlimited Wi-Fi available.

Zeer net huis op loopafstand van de zee. Mooie tuin en leuke omgeving. Tevens zwembad op terein aanwezig.

Perfect house for family
The house is in a garded area, 300m to beaches. The garden is lovely. Seating areas perfect.the pool is a meeting place for house owners. The rooms are cosy, nicely equiped , AC in the sleeping rooms with 3 bathrooms. Two rooms are suterrain- unusual at fist - but cool and nice in the summer because you do not need a AC at night.
The hospitality was great. We were greeted with fresh fruit and a full fridge, wine, ice cream. Felt great! Thank you for the great Holiday!

Excellent stay in a beautiful house
We had a fantastic stay (2 parents, 4 adult children) in a wonderful house, with all amenities, perfectly suited for our group. The welcome was far beyond expectations, beautiful fruit dishes, a thorough introduction to the house and surroundings and a feeling of genuine interest in the guests well-being. The sunset pictures were awesome, the terraces made for enjoying all meals outside, yet the house was nice and cool at night time. We loved the place, Thomas and family

Très belle maison à deux pas de la plage. Nous y avons séjourné à 10 personnes dont 4 enfants ....et un chien! L'accueil a été fort sympathique. La villa jouit d'un équipement particulièrement confortable, même si nous avons un peu regretté l'abse
nce d'un lave vaisselle! Je recommanderai vivement cette location à tous ceux qui veulent visiter en famille les plus beaux sites de Sicile

Excellente location
Excellente location dans une résidence fermée, place de parking assurée devant la maison, la maison est confortable et fonctionnelle (photos tout à fait conformes), le jardin très agréable, la proximité de la plage et de la piscine sont un vrai plus, seul petit bémol :l'absence d'un lave-vaisselle. Séjour entre amis ( 4 adultes et 5 enfants ).
Nous recommandons vivement !

A wonderfully relaxing base which has it all!
We have just returned from a wonderful two week holiday in villa Oleandor. Our group was made up of two families - x5 children and x4 adults.
From the moment we booked, Carmelo (the owner) dealt with our every last query in the most efficient and prompt manner. Infact this was consistent for our entire stay at the villa. Antonella was always very prompt with dealing with any requests we had. She was the perfect host!
As my husband was going to be driving a manual car and on the wrong side of the road, I needed to ensure that I had all the finer details (directions etc) confirmed to make it as much of a 'smooth' journey as possible! And this was very easyily achieved thanks to Carmelo.
We were greeted by Antonella and her nephew on arrival. Both of whom were very charming and helpful. The nephew took plenty of time to show us around the villa and took us for a guided walk around the estate, showing us where the public & private beach was located as well as the swimming pool. Antonella had prepared a lovely hamper with all the basic supplies as well as some special treats! Which got demolished (by the children) very quickly!
The villa is very well connected to the motorway so it is very easy to be at the beach and then be driving up the mountains within an hour of each other.
The children were very happy going to the swimming pool and the beach everyday both of which are a stone throw away. We went to the water park which was a mere 7mins drive. They also enjoyed the adventure playground in the national park.
We managed to visit all the sites of Cefalu as well as exploring the neighbouring towns. The drive up to the national park was breathtaking providing some amazing backdrops along the way.
The villa provides a perfect base to satisfy all interests and ages. The children can enjoy the swimming pool and beaches on the estate and the adults can take in all the wonders of the natural beauty and history of Northern Sicily.
We enjoyed a very relaxing two week holiday in the villa with some amazing memories to keep for years to come.

It has it all
Our group comprised of six adults and four children ranging in age from five to seven months.
My emails to Carmello were dealt with promptly before our holiday started with great information on how to reach the property from the airport to how far away the shops were.
We were met by Antonella and her Mother who probably had quite a long wait for us as our plane was held up in Rome. They welcomed us with such friendliness and put us completely at ease, I think they were a little disappointed that the baby hadn't arrived with us.
Antonella couldn't have done more to make things easy for our first day in the villa, a lovely welcome basket, provisions that we could use during our stay and great instructions on which restaurants they enjoyed in town.
There was lots of room outside with eating areas and entertainment areas, BBQ and outside shower and as the weather was perfect this is where we spent most of our time.
The mosquitos were a problem but there were plenty of coils around the house.
The season did finish half way through our second week so the pool was closed and the Water Slide Park closed after our first week, but as we were so close to the private and public beach we weren't too inconvenienced.
I would highly recommend this property and it's location to anyone wanting a relaxed holiday.
If you must have the pool and water slide park check your dates when you book.

Family-friendly, relaxing getaway
From the moment we reserved Villa Oleandro, we were appreciative of the prompt responses from the owner, Carmelo, whenever we had an inquiry or questions about our stay. We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion in Cefalu, Sicily for 1 week in June. We were a group of 10, which included 5 adults and 5 children, ages ranging from 7 to 84 years. The property was about 90 Km from Palermo Airport. This property was wonderful, except for the mosquitoes!!! (which were the only downside of the stay besides rental car issues.)
We were met by Antonella, Carmelo's sister and Gabriel, Antonella's son, when we arrived at Villa Oleandro where they gave us a thorough review of the property and furnished us with a folder of information for nearby restaurants, grocery stores and local areas of interest. They generously provided us with a "Welcome" basket full of homemade orange marmalade, cookies, fruit, wine, juice, chips, and frozen treats (in the freezer) for our 5 children! They had their own special homemade olive oil for us to enjoy. Carmelo had even prepared a map for us with detailed directions to Musomeli/Aqua Viva, the hometowns of our ancestry, after I had inquired about the distance to these villages from the house prior to our arrival! The property was well-appointed, charming, clean, quiet, and was in a gated community. We were a short, easy, 5-7 minute walk from two wonderful beaches: one private and one public, however, even the public beach was never very crowded.
The house was the perfect size for our family. The location could not have been better, as we were only 3.5 km from downtown Cefalu. A local market and many fantastic restaurants were just a short car ride away.
We had a charcoal grill available, however, we are so used to a gas grill that we forgot how long it takes to cook on it. We did eat outdoors under the ivy-covered pergola on several occasions.The weather was perfect. The grounds with the rosemary bushes, wild aloe vera plants, bougainvillea, oleander, olive and palm trees, were breathtaking! At night the fishing boats would move up and down the coast for a wonderful light show.
The only other downside for us was that the community pool did not open until July 1st, but the beaches were so much fun that our kids did not miss the pool.
Overall this was a wonderful place to stay for a family reunion and vacation. The nearby seaside town of Cefalu offered so much that we had all we needed for a fantastic holiday.

Beautiful, spacious villa
Four of us (all adults) just spent a really lovely week in Villa Oleandro and had a great time. It's a great place for a beachy family holiday. The villa is well-equipped and spacious, looks even better than it does in the photos on TA, and has a beautiful garden. It was a very hot week in Sicily last week but there are many shaded areas in the garden for sitting and eating, a fantastic barbeque, and two beaches accessible from the complex (and we found a third one the day before we left just outside!). Cefalu is a 5 minute drive away for another perfect beach, and lots of shops and restaurants of all kinds. The supermarket, Conad, is also on the way into Cefalu.
Antonella was kind enough to meet us when we arrived very late at night on the first day and was totally charming, and Carmelo similarly helped us make all the arrangements by email. When there was a small problem with the washing machine one day they handled a solution for it very quickly.
We found the seafood and fish in Cefalu was really fantastic - our two favourites on Antonella's restaurant list were La Scoglio Ubriaco (lobster pasta to die for) and BaIgio del Falco nearer the villa, for their mussels and fish. Both more expensive than others but if you want a special meal one night, well worth it. We also drank a lot of fantastic Planeta wine.
All in all we can highly recommend both the villa and Cefalu. [If you have kids and want to use the pool in the villa complex it's worth knowing ahead of time that you must all have swim hats - everyone, male or female].

Beautifull villa with see view and all amenities you need for hollidays
We had unforgetable holidays in Sicily for one week in May. One of the important facts of it was the villa we lived in - quite, safe location with the see view and private beach, also really close to Cefalu city with shops, cafes, sandy beach and night live. All the amenities we needed was in the villa - the grill, the garden, washing machine, etc, etc... The owners are really pleasant and warmhearted people that took care of every single detail of our stay. We enjoyed the welcome pack:) The rooms are italian style, cosy and clean, the villa is rather big for the big family or a group of friends. I would love to say " arivederci".:)
