Estate in famiglia
Villa Adele è un posti gradevole con spazi esterni sufficienti. La villa necessita comunque di maggiore manutenzione ma in generale il giudizio è sufficiente. la piscina merita particolare attenzione specialmente se ci sono bambini. La cucina è troppo piccola per i posti letto disponibili. Complessivamente il giudizio è sufficiente

Enjoying Villa Adele
With 6 adults, child (4.5 years) and 2 babies (8 and 16 months) we had a nice holiday in Sicily with a stay in Villa Adele in Altavilla Milicia. On arrival there was a wonderful welcome pack of wine, plenty of mineral water and goodies. Sufficiently large bedrooms (6) with good double beds, plenty of cots and highchairs, 4 bathrooms (2 with shower), kitchen, living room, large covered terrace with large outdoor table (very nice!). Also present a pretty, practical outdoor kitchen with original pizza wood-burning oven, a nice swimming pool (1.5-2 m deep) and garden. Additionally there was a separate laundry room with fridge and freezer. All well-kept, quiet place to be together for a while, beautiful! Practical information: - Prepare yourself for baking real Italian pizzas in the wood oven; ask owner for wood if not in stock. - Although the sea is nearby, you cannot easily walk because of the buildings in between. - Little to no sandy beach and no activity anymore during this period (season is over, although the temperature was around 25oC). - Stores only accessible by car. Google 'supermarkets' and you'll see most in direction of Palermo, but you can also go for small groceries in San Nicola l’Arena which is about 10 minutes drive. - Distances to: Palermo - 30 km Palermo Airport - 45 km Cefalu - 50 km; nice (tourist) town with a lot of culture and history.

Great House
The House was fantastic, well equipped and clean. Each of the 6 bedrooms were generous doubles with 3 bathrooms. The pool was clean, private and a nice place to relax. The outside areas were also great with the pizza oven being the best part! We thoroughly recommend using this in the evening although you will need to make sure you have heated it up properly for a few hours first! You will definitely need a car and the litter took away a lot of the charm although from what we saw, not a local issue but one throughout Silicy. I would certainly recommend if you are searching for a quiet and relaxing week away. Our hosts were very accommodating and helped arrange a boat trip which was well worth doing!

Excellent villa in a out of the way location
The villa was excellent, plenty of space for all ten of us that stayed there. The pool was perfect for a very hot stay in August. The outside dining/lounge area was wonderful. The host was extremely helpful and gave us plenty of ideas for things to do and see while we were there. The aircon and wi-fi worked well, everything was well maintained and everything needed was provided. The only less than perfect thing is the fact that there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance so a car is a necessity.
