Chalet Husky, is a stunning, stylish chalet situated next to the ‘Les Coches’ bubble, Chalet Husky commands impressive views of the piste and Montchavin snow-front.
Using slate, timber and local stone, Chalet Husky has been artfully designed with contemporary fittings and fixtures to create a classy chalet home. The chalet is laid out over 4 floors, with 6 spacious bedrooms each with a wardrobe and twin beds that can be combined to make a double; a huge open-plan dining lounge area; a TV snug and a hot tub on the balcony, with truly fabulous views.

Incredible food and great hosts
Myself and my partner stayed at Chalet Husky between 21st Jan and 28th Jan 2024.
A fantastic experience, the chalet host Mandy and Chef David were incredible. Mandy was extremely attentive, personable and kept a well stocked bar!
The food was of a much higher standard than we could have expected. Chef David creates wonderful, high-standard restaurant quality dishes with incredible flavours.
The chalet is very modern, cosy and has a great communal space for dinner and socialising together. The hot tub is a great asset after a day’s skiing.
We would highly recommend this chalet and would undoubtedly stay again.

Stunning chalet, with wonderful hosts in a lovely Alpine village.
This is our 2nd trip to Mont Chavin as the village is a real little gem of a traditional Alpine village but with access to the huge Paradaski ski area. The chalet is only a minutes walk from the bubble up to ski school meeting points and a 2nd bubble towards La Plagne. If snow conditions are good you can ski directly back to the chalet. It is also a short ski to the Vanoise Express lift to les Arcs.
The chalet is beautiful and spacious, we were a group of 9 adults and 6 children and it doesn't feel cramped. It has great views and watching the sunset on Mont Blanc from the hot tub was a memorable moment of the holiday.
David and Mandy were our chalet host, with David a professional chef. This is definitely the best food we have had on a chalet holiday, it was fantastic and they make it look so easy as they prepare it in a relaxed and professional manner. I would book a chalet just to have David and Mandy as hosts again, they are an absolute asset to the company.
The booking process was simple and Toorna dealt with all our queries promptly and was so helpful and efficient in making sure we had all we need when we arrived and for the duration of our stay. Communication was excellent and, again, very professional.
I would recommend Alpoine365 to anyone.

Perfect Stay for Family Ski Trip
We stayed at Chalet Husky for a family ski trip (6 adults, 6 children) and were not sure what to expect but were absolutely blown away when we go to the chalet, and it didn't disappoint throughout the week!
The chalet is clean, modern and nicely decorated, the rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. The living space is also very cosy, and the view from the jacuzzi was stunning.
Food-wise I cannot recommend David and Landy enough - always a cooked breakfast available, fresh cakes for afternoon snack, and the dinner was always unreal. Special thanks to David and Mandy for feeding the kids early, and then the adults later, so that we could enjoy some time to ourselves! Nothing was too much trouble, the food was genuinely better than a lot of restaurants I have been to, and it was lovely being welcomes up to dinner with a glass of fizz after putting the kids to bed.
Ski lift is genuinely 1 minute away and you can ski directly to the chalet too. Monchavin was a lovely little town too - not too busy with some nice restaurants and everything you need really.
We all felt really spoilt and no one had a single bad word to say, so much so that we have already booked for next year!

Amazing food, great chalet
Had a great week at Chalet Husky, the food was incredible and easily the best we've had in the 7 years we've done catered chalets. The group has a great time despite the poor weather conditions while the chalet layout was perfect with the social area on 1 floor separate to all bedrooms. All our requests pre and during the trip were met with the staff going above and beyond. Thoroughly great trip, thanks!

Exceptional
Our group of 12 had an absolutely incredible stay at Husky, and we can't recommend it enough!
David and Mandy were amazing hosts - the food was genuinely stunning, and we couldn't have asked for more. They handled every request with ease, and made the whole stay magic.
The chalet itself is just as good as the pics, and really comfortable, whether chilling in the hot tub with great views or lounging on the sofas.
Easy access to Les Arcs via the Vanoise Express lift was a massive bonus, but even when the weather wasn't great, the chalet was just a fab place to relax.

An Unforgettable and Magical Holiday
After a few COVID hiccups our family skiing trip to Chalet Husky was finally upon us. Our expectations were very high and we were still blown away. Our eleven family members were comfortably accommodated in the well appointed chalet. Most of our time was spent in the magnificent lounge/dining area and in the large and spotless hot tub on the patio drinking wine and taking in the exceptional views.
Most of our group made full use of the incredible slopes in the surrounding areas and full ski days were immensely enjoyed. Everyone was delighted to come home to the chalet (easy ski in, ski out) and enjoy the absolutely incredible meals provided by our resident chef, David, and assisted by the wonderful, Mandy. Our chalet team (including Alpine365's Toorna and Duncan) was outstanding; organising taxis, booking meals, sorting out ski passes and ski hire, making suggestions about what to do in the area and how to get around and generally looking after our general well being. As my sister says, "They couldn't have made us feel more welcome and at home. The arrangements worked seamlessly and the meals were fantastic?".
We reflected, after the next couple of days in Geneva (feeding the same crowd), that we could not have had better value for money. A phenomenal holiday! Thank you team Husky.

Fabulous Chalet holiday in great location
We have just returned from a fantastic New Year holiday at Chalet Husky with Alpine365. The chalet itself is great - all rooms a good size, nice bathrooms, plenty of hot water, etc. The top floor sitting/dining area leading out onto the balcony with a hot tub and great views is really lovely. The location of the chalet is perfect - very easy access to the ski lift, equipment hire, bar, village …. and the underground car park a real plus point if you’re driving. Our chalet hosts, David and Mandy, looked after us superbly and produced amazing, restaurant quality meals, that were greatly appreciated by the both the carnivores and the vegetarians! We’re very glad to have discovered Alpine365 and hope to holiday again with them in the future.

Best ski holiday ever!
Oh my gosh, where do I even begin... everything about the experience from Alpine365 was fantastic. Toorna and Duncan were so helpful leading up to the holiday, the chalet itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our large family holiday - it's ski-in ski-out and right by 2 lifts up to La Plagne, has fantastic restaurants and bars at its doorstep, the hot tub was always hot and bubbling, the bedrooms were the perfect size with en suites for each room... it is truly perfect. May I say though, that despite the fact the holiday was one of the best I've ever been on for all the above reasons, our chalet hosts (Genaro and Maria) really did make the holiday. Their food was absolutely impeccable, they were so kind and accommodating and are really lovely, genuine and fun people. Will absolutely be booking again just to see them! Thank you so much everyone at Alpine365!

Perfect chalet
The perfect ski holiday that was made so much more special by the hosts Genaro and Maria. They really are two very special people; so welcoming and friendly and yet complete professionals. Their food is top notch - there were many comments around the dinner table that either this dish or that dish was the best they’ve ever tasted. Alpine365 are a great company, super responsive and really helpful. Thank you Toorna and Duncan.
The chalet is perfect; great location, so cosy and the hot tub after a long days skiing was very much welcomed. Couldn’t recommend more.

Perfect stay at Chalet Husky
No one could be disappointed with a stay here!! The location is excellent, the chalet is beautiful and well equipped, beds comfortable and the hot tub is a real treat after a day on the slopes.
However the absolute highlight is the beautiful food provided by Gennaro and Maria. Every night was a treat, every single course is prepared with love and attention.. I have no idea how they do it and are still so attentive! (and the night off at Cocette & Co was really lovely too)
Slopes on one side of chalet and bubble lift on the other, you really couldn’t ask for more!
Duncan and Toorna are super helpful and so on the ball with organising everything you need too!
Alpine 365 we were impressed! 🥰

About the neighborhood
We are based in the immense and hugely popular French resort of La Plagne, which is linked via the impressive cable car, the Vanoise Express, to Les Arcs, to form the Paradiski, one of the largest ski areas in the world.
La Plagne itself is made up of 11 separate ‘villages,’ one of which is Montchavin Les Coches - and this is where we have chosen to base ourselves – not least because we are at one end of the Vanoise Express cable car, so right in the middle of the Paradiski.
Montchavin and Les Coches are small family-friendly, pretty resorts - and from all our chalets, you can see the impressive Mont Blanc.
With 425kms of piste; more than 70% is above 2000m, 2 glaciers and plenty of off-piste, there is definitely something for everyone.
Getting around
The skiing in the Paradiski is fantastic and you will not need a car. The 'Les Coches' ski lift is right next to the chalet and from there, you either take the 'Lac Noir' lift or ski to Les Coches and take the 'Plan Bois' chairlift up to Plan Bois. From there you can ski in La Plagne or take the 'Vanoise Express' cable car to Les Arcs.
It takes 2 minutes to walk into Montchavin centre with its pretty cobbled streets, bars and restaurants - and the ski hire shop and local bar are right opposite the chalet.

Car not needed
How to get there
Flying - nearest airports are Chambery, Geneva, Lyon and Geneva. Just let us know which flights you are on and we will arrange airport transfers to the chalet.
Airport transfers - if you are a group of 8 or more, you're better off getting a bespoke transfer in a minibus. This will pick you up from your flight and bring you straight to the chalet. If you are a couple, for example, it's often cheaper to get a shared transfer or bus.
Trains - there is a direct train from London to Bourg St Maurice, which is about 20 minutes from the chalet. If you don't get the direct train, you can change in Paris and then catch the SNCF train to Landry, which is only 10 minutes away. We'll organise a pick up or taxi from the station
Driving - we have secure underground parking at the chalet.
