This is a lovely cottage which is well equipped and furnished with some extra touches that were appreciated. A convenient base for a variety of holidays in this area. Walking, cycling, beaches, golf, castles.

Just home from a wonderful stay at Tigh na cala, Portknockie. The cottage is fantastic; comfy and cosy and plenty of space. We stayed as 4 adults, 1 child and a baby. About the neighborhood
Portknockie is a lovely peaceful fishing village and overlooks a natural harbour on the Moray Coast. Portknockie has a fantastic community spirit and has won 'Best village in bloom' many times in the past. There are many coastal walks from the cottage along the rugged cliffs which lead to coves and beaches, and you may pass the local landmark of Bow Fiddle rock. You could also walk or cycle the old railway viaduct from the village to Cullen a couple of miles away. Or just sit at the top of the harbour and watch the activities of the harbour.
