We have just had the most enjoyable relaxing month staying at Olivers lovely home. Perfect weather for the time of year dining out side in garden & on the patios around the house following the sun. The house offers all the home comforts you could ask for. Comfy beds, lovely en-suite showers with loads of hot water. Spacious lounge with a log burner which was perfect for the evenings towards the month which had turned a little cool. Cosy kitchen with all the required accessories. My only recommendation would be a larger freezer. The small one in the top of the fridge was not really adequate. Chateaux's, Lakes, markets, quaint villages all within 20-30 mins drive away. This is a great location. 10 mins from the local lake with swimming beach, cafe/bar. 10 mins drive to nearest supermarket. Recommend visiting Vallee de Singe and Zoo du Renu - each just over an hour away. The house is lovely. Each room has it's own en-suite shower. We had a wonderful 2 weeks and we were lucky with the weather. A trip to Limoges is well worth while. The owners communicated well and sent great directions.Kate and Ian the property managers were very welcoming and gave some great suggestions for trips. Wi-fi important with young adults. There was lots of space in the house for all the children and very close to the lake (beach) We had a brilliant time in the garden. A very peaceful location.

Lovely family home. Beautiful, traditional, relaxing, rural. We were lucky enough to stay in this well equiped french retreat. Loved every minute. Plenty to do in the area. Peaceful area close to many walks and lakes. Would highly recommend and love to visit again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Lovely,charming,querky.....huge!! Not sure how to sum up this property and location without waxing lyrical. My wife and I have stayed at three different locations in the limousine area of France as its where we want to settle. This property would suit a large family as it had 4 possibly 5 bedrooms (can't remember!) ,huge kitchen with all the appliances,dining area, massive lounge....t.v., wifi .....fantastic. Possibly the best value stay we have had in France so far. You will definitely need a car as no shops in walking distance however ,a short drive to the local towns and you will find all you need and more. The nearby town of Rochechouart has a wonderful Chateau ( currently under some renovation) , great shops,bars ,restaurants and lovely great fishing lake. If you want an excellent quality rental ,lots of countryside walks and proper peace and quiet then this is the place .
