Gites
Orchard View is a fully self-contained holiday cottage set in the beautiful south Vienne countryside. It has a double bedroom, lounge, kitchen / diner and a large shower room. Outside there is a fully enclosed private garden with a patio for outdoor dining and relaxing whilst taking in the wonderful rural views.
The Gite complex comprises 2 Gites in total with a shared solar heated swimming pool and games room. The grounds extend to nearly 6 hectares in total and also contain a fishing lake available for guests to use.

Heerlijk!!!!!
Wat een mooie, bijzondere plek in Frankrijk is Wisdom Gite!
Wij hebben 1 week mogen verblijven in Orchard View.
Richard & Carol jullie zijn een gastvrij en enthousiast stel dat alles doet om het de gasten naar het zin te maken. Terwijl Wisdom Gite al zo fantastisch is.
Wij hebben genoten van het zwembad, de uitgezette wandelroutes vanuit jullie terrein en het fantastische landgoed met vijvers, landerijen en vismeer. De vele diersoorten in het wild, het landschap en de natuurlijke omgeving maken het geheel tot een waar paradijs.
Over de gite Orchard View, deze is goed en er ontbreekt niets.
We hebben genoten en komen zeker nog eens langs!

An Excellent Couple Of Gites With Great Facilities
We rented both gites, dumping the three kids (16, 13, 11) in Orchard View and having the smaller Meadow Gite for mum and dad.
The gites have been converted beautifully and are very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you'll need, with the pool and games room are an excellent feature. In fact, my 3 were never out of the pool until the sunset and then were playing pool in the games room. If your kids have lots of energy there are acres for them to explore in a safe environment.
Supermarkets are a short drive away as is a fantastic local bakery. The whole area is very quiet. I took my road bike and after riding over 500+km during my 2 week break I didn't see a single pothole and on one 50km ride saw a grand total of 4 cars. I did, however, see dear, boar, coypu, jays, kingfishers and countless other wild birds on my rides.
There are some fab' local markets about which we took full advantage of and some interesting small towns to explore.
The hosts are always about if you need them and obviously have excellent knowledge of the local area which is always a bonus.
My wife and kids all had a great time. I asked them what they enjoyed the most.
My wife said the peace and quiet, my son said the wifi (very important at 16), my eldest daughter said the cakes from the bakery and my youngest said the pool! For dad it was the cycling. :o)
If you're considering a holiday in true rural France, and you really won't get more authentic that Vienne (86) and Haute Vienne (87), but still want things like a pool, entertainment for the kids, wifi and British TV then I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Excellent facilities, warm and welcoming. Modern and excellent accommodation. We stayed in Orchard View.
Wisdom Gites are amazing! Richard and Carol are friendly, warm and welcoming, We had everything we needed for a totally relaxing stay in France. The countryside was wonderful a total get away from it all. We would recommend Wisdom Gites to everyone without hesitation.

Unbelievably good accommodation
A brand new 2 bedroom Gite with every conceivable home comfort in an ideal countryside location. There is a fishing lake to relax by, and perhaps have a go at catching one of the huge Carp. The friendliness of the owners is second to none and really helps to make sure your stay is relaxing as possible.

Pure country escape but close to amenities and beautitul vienne rivered towns.
What a view. Lovely spacious Gite, well equipped and superb welcome pack. If you haven't got the essentials the owners are at hand to help. The information pack was an informative guide to our days out. If you decide to stay put then take in the walks and scenery along with the fishing lake, games rom and there is a pool being installed for 2018. A lovely stay and we will be back again. Thank you Rich and Caz.
