In the courtyard of 100m2, 3 terraces carved in schist and isolated from the world, you can bathe in the 'pond' to the sound of a waterfall, enjoy a book next to a centuries-old olive tree, or enjoy unique tastes with friends one night full of stars, sounds and heady scents.

If you ever need a house with lots of space (families), pet friendly and right in the middle of Alentejo while not forgetting about water activities, walks and a bunch load of history, this is the place to be.
Please notice. This is NOT conventional beach village. This is in the depts of Alentejo, almost 2 hours away from the sea shore. But you can find the most beautifull fluvial beaches. Sweet water, no big waves, endless river shores.
And then you have the Castle and all the history. The host will fill you in the legends, the tales all while taking you in several experiences, walks and mesmerizing sights.
Finally, experience the food. Proper Alentejo typical food, lamb, pork, sausage, chorizo, cheese, wine and conventual sweets.
In the end you get peace, beautiful skies, wonderfull landscapes, activities and gastronomical wonders.
All within a 2 hour ride from Lisbon: Why wait? I know I will be coming back as often as possible.

Great weekend with friends
We were a group of friends and occupied the all house for a weekend of walking around the area. Because the rooms can also be twins this was great for us, as it was the possibility of doing some quick meals in the house. Every morning we had fresh bread for breakfast, Ana (the owner) did a workshop for us about the local dessert (Encharcada) and we took it for our dessert in a nearby restaurant.
