This was such an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime trip! The villa was absolutely breathtaking! The staff was so gracious and attentive! The food was delicious, and the activities were both fun and educational! I hope that I will have the opportunity to return to this magical place one day!

I wish I could compile all of the amazing comments from all the other 5 star reviewers into this one, because they are all true. Both indoor and outdoor views are magical. Combine that with the wonderful staff that ended up as extended family, and you have home away from home. Rebecca, Maam, Beau and the rest of the staff helped us in every possible way to make us comfortable and enjoy our stay each and everyday. The food was also magical; as if we were eating staged pictures out of a magazine. Villa Kalyana, until we meet again!

We came to Villa Kalyana with 29 family members for a trip that was almost 3 years in the making due to COVID. To say that we were looking forward to this trip is an understatement. From the minute we arrived on the island, we were so well taken care of! Our vans were there and ready for us, and when we pulled up to the villa, we were stunned. Everything in the Villa was incredibly beautiful, well maintained and perfect for us! The views were breathtaking! And while the villa was unbelievably gorgeous, it is the staff that deserves so much praise! Rebecca, our Villa coordinator and hostess was ready and willing to help with each and every step of the planning process. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to planning excursions and brainstorming activities to do. When family drama popped up, she was supportive and encouraging, there with a hug and a solution! She felt like a part of our family, and we loved everything she set up for us, such as the boat trip, elephant sanctuary, temple visits, yoga class, and massages. We needed suggestions for where to explore and what to do, and all of her suggestions were fantastic and perfect for our group! Even when some of the group wanted to visit other areas different from the main group, Rebecca coordinated it without a hitch! The list could go on and on with all that she did for us! Then Mam, our house manager, was simply phenomenal! She had a warm smile and quick answer to every question we had! She and the staff anticipated every single desire, whim, or thought. The food was absolutely delicious, every single meal, and our group had quite a few picky eaters! The staff at Villa Kalyana were so instrumental in helping us create memories that will last forever! All of us were so sad to leave, and wanted to bring the entire staff with us!! I could write for hours about how fantastic this trip was! I only wish we lived closer so that we could visit again!

We recently held our wedding at Villa Kalyana in Koh Samui, Thailand with the wonderful Rebecca at the helm and as our wedding planner. We literally had the best wedding you could hope for, and we wanted to leave this review for other couples who might be considering Kalyana for their special day. We booked our wedding in October 2018 and it was originally planned for May 2020, unfortunately, due to pandemic we had to postpone our wedding 3 times, but we finally said I do Friday 25th February 2022. As you can imagine dealing with multiple postponements on our side was tough, especially given we also booked the travel for all our guests including further stays in Koh Phangan and Bangkok after the wedding week. But Rebecca gracefully was dealing with multiple weddings being postponed and moving goalposts every single day, and you would never have known it. She patiently supported us every step of the way and without a doubt made Feb 22 happen, with us both dealing with ever changing Government rules of entry, Rebecca moved heaven and earth to gain SHA+ status allowing the wedding to finally go ahead. It felt like Rebecca became an immigration, travel, government policy expert along with personal therapist to make this happen. We are so grateful and as are our 37 guests who came with us and my ever so proud parents. Putting that aside our wedding week was phenomenal! We hosted 3 events the first being a surprise birthday party on the Monday after we arrived on the Sunday for some of guests who had significant birthdays during lockdowns. Rebecca and the team organised an outdoor BBQ, DJ and Karaoke which everybody loved. We then hosted a further surprise on the Wednesday with a boat party on a floating bar called Heaven, this was the most fun day and because we couldn’t attend the full moon party Rebecca got us lots of Neon face paints, fancy dress, wings you name it she got it and it turned it into our very own full moon party floating out in the bay in the Samui. Finally, we then got to the wedding day on the Friday, and everything went to plan, and we couldn’t have wished for a better day. Rebecca and Beau managed all our suppliers and only choosing the very best to meet our brief which she massively guided us on every step of the way. We had the most stunning décor and the ceremony was just stunning in front of the ocean, we further surprised our guests (we LOVE a surprise) with our best friend marrying us and a Drag Queen stopping the ceremony to perform it should have been me (see social media, legendary) and then on to a Thai Water ceremony which we highly recommend, it brings all your guests into the ceremony and it feels quite spiritual and has so much meaning. We then had cocktails & canapes, a beautiful wedding breakfast which every said was the best Thai food they have ever tried! We went for the fire show which the guests LOVED and the pictures are out of this world and finally we danced the night away with a Saxophonist and DJ which bought it all together really well. So again, we say massive thank you to Rebecca, Mamm, Beau and all of the team at Villa Kalyana. You are the very best at what you do, and you will forever be in our hearts, you made our dreams come true and we are eternally grateful. Anyone considering getting married in Samui, consider Kalyana it’s the best decision you will ever make.

We tried to find perfect place to arrange our wedding and for a moment it seemed that nothing would suit our needs. Finally we encountered Villa Kalyana online and fell in love immidiately. Kalyana is even more impressive in person - truly spectacular and magical place. We were first guests/event/wedding after Covid shutdowns and everything was so perfect! Rebecca made all of the arrangement for us so easy from the start and managed to translate our wishes to reality. Our wedding was more than we could have never dreamed of. We stayed at Villa Kalyana for 4 nights and Villa staff was also so welcoming, nice and taking care of every single detail. If you ever think of arranging your wedding at Thailand, I can very highly recommend Villa Kalyana! I don't think you can find better venue, service or atmosphere anywhere else. 5 star luxury hotels can't compete for the total package and atmosphere you get in Villa Kalyana. Huge thanks for Rebecca and all of the Villa staff for such a memorable time. Waiting to come back when we figure out which could be our next celebration that is worthy of this experience.

We wanted an intimate wedding setting where our family and friends could relax, get to know each other and celebrate - but what we experienced was above and beyond! Villa Kalyana is by far the most gorgeous and serene place we have ever been to! It is pure luxury set right on the open waters and the white sand beach, palm trees, breeze, beautiful sunrises and gorgeous villas which are a stone’s throw away from the water - you get the wow factor as soon as you walk in. Located on the southern part of the island, it is cut away from the noisy and crowded touristy areas. The ambience, location, hospitality and the service was far beyond our wildest imagination, and was perfect for our families to unwind and bond! We cannot express enough the admiration and love we have for the powerhouse that is Rebecca! She is the epitome of a one woman show who can do anything and everything to ensure your vision is effortlessly translated into reality and beyond! She is a really warm and lovely person whom you would want to hang out with! We were initially a little nervous about planning a wedding from another country, especially when neither of us had been to Thailand before. The experience from the first time we contacted Rebecca, through the planning (which was managed to a T), celebrations and departure was top notch! We shared our ideas of what we wanted our Indian wedding to look like, and she took care of all the vendors and finer details seamlessly. Every detail was literally so perfect and polished! The vendors she recommended for photography (Nok and Toa - highly recommend!), fireworks, Indian food catering, etc. were terrific! Every single member of the staff always had a pleasant smile, eager to help and went above and beyond to cater to our guests - be it food, late night service, baby sitter, masseuses, cabs - you name it and we got it. You guys have spoilt us for life! When planning new trips, we now compare them to Villa Kalyana...it has become the benchmark. Every single guest of ours has also expressed that this was the best wedding AND vacation they have been to, and that speaks loads! We all still wish we stayed back for a few more days. We highly recommend Villa Kalyana AND meeting Rebecca for any celebrations, or just cutting away from the world and enjoying the bliss! We can’t wait to go back!

This place has so many 5 star reviews. All of these are completely accurate about both the service, experience and especially Bec. We’re here to tell you about our wedding at Villa Kalyana. Before even booking, we spent a full day of our holiday driving around Koh Samui looking at weddings venues. We didn’t find anything inspiring and went back home to Australia a little disappointed. But then we found Villa Kalyana online. We made an enquiry, and from the outset Bec was nothing short of amazing. She truly made our wedding happen. She thought of everything to make our dream wedding a reality (more than we could have even considered). Her extensive knowledge, contacts around the island, and the staff around her made it all incredible. Her professionalism aside, Bec is warm, positive and genuinely cares and is invested in making your wedding the best that it can be. The villa itself is simply amazing. The wow factor you get when you arrive is just on a whole other level, and made a huge impression on us (even after we spent a LOT of time looking at the photos). It was breathtaking. It was like our own private island with all our wedding guests, we wish we’d stayed more than the 4 nights we’d booked. The food during our stay was fantastic, and we give massive props to the chefs for accommodating everyone. Speaking of staff, Mam and Sonia and the rest of the crew were incredible. They were so good with all our guests, especially the kids we had among our party. The wedding day itself was like a fairytale. We’d seen photos on Facebook of past weddings and thought we’d have to spend an exorbitant amount to achieve that, but it was all achievable in our budget. Bec’s hands on approach made sure things ran smoothly, she coordinated all the vendors, took care of everything and was a legitimate angel at every single stage. Even with the coronavirus closing in on the world (and we think we were the last wedding guests they had before international travel stopped) we had an absolute blast. All our guests had nothing but high praise for Bec, the staff and the villa. We really cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re considering a wedding anywhere in Southeast Asia, this is where you need to have it.

I have very few words to express our gratitude for the time we spent there for our wedding on Feb 2020. An authentic Congolese & Cameroonian All in White beach wedding which our guests will remember for a long time. The venue was way above our expectations. We dreamed of this wedding for an entire year during the preparation and I almost cried when our vans reached the inside of the villa and we got out. The views, the equipment, the sensation of space, freedom, luxury, privilege etc... But I am thankful of is the humanity with which we have been treated by Becky. I lost my dad in the middle of the wedding organization and was close to cancel everything. It was a big hit for our budget but Becky kept the same dedication , went above everything to cheer me up, helped me keep the dream happening, made things on the day that she was not entitled to do, had the pic of my dad close to me all the time, just to relieve the burden of the grief. I will be forever grateful for this. This is priceless. I will never forget you. Thank you.

We came to the villa for a wedding and stayed the entire week. The staff was absolutely delightful and the accommodations were incredible. I wouldn’t possibly change a thing about this experience. Food and service were perfection. I legitimately miss the staff everyday.

Villa Kalyana is the needed break from reality. This place provided great customer service, delish food, lavish living accommodations, and two pools. When I get old and am in assisted living flashing back on my life, this is one of the memories I will savor.
