My daughter's family had stayed here 3 years ago and suggested it as a fine spot for a larger family gathering. Can't praise it enough. Nothing was too much trouble for Ron, who visited every day with his lovely dog, Pepe (a favourite with us all). Accommodations were spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and finished to a very high standard indeed. The villa offered us peace and quiet, the surrounding area was a delight to explore.

We are so glad you enjoyed your family reunion at Casa della Quercia! Nothing makes us happier than to hear that our visitors appreciate the villa, this very special little village, and these magnificent surroundings as much as we do. We hope you will come and visit us again soon.

We were a group of 12 friends who stayed for one week and we had an excellent stay. The villa is beautifully located in the northern Tuscany and easily reached by car from Pisa, Genoa or Firenze. All of the rooms are in great condition, easily fitting twelve guests. Kitchen appliances are of good quality making it easy to prepare lunch/dinner to be enjoyed out on the terrace. The garden and pool area are beautiful...

Casa della Quercia is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have ever stayed in! The views of the landscape are simply stunning, and the owners have done a fabulous job with the interior design and landscaping. I really loved having a drink and reading by the gorgeous pool. I also really liked being in a small, quaint village with genuine Italians that was just a short hour drive to the coast and...

Additional amenities & feature info
In typical Tuscan fashion, the villa has an outdoor staircase connecting the top and middle floors, so in essence it can function as two separate living suites. The house is furnished with Italian and English antiques, original oil paintings and oriental rugs, including some brought back from a trip to Morocco. The master suite on the top floor is the Zanzibar Suite, a large romantic bedroom with French doors overlooking the mountains, features a pair of canopied antique beds, carved from rosewood and mahogany and inset with painted glass hearts, imported from Zanzibar especially for this room. The master suite on the middle floor is the Venetian Suite, with a queen-sized pillow-top bed imported from the US and classic Venetian furnishings. A staircase from this room leads down to French d... more
