Positioned within the small hamlet of Warleggan on the south side of Bodmin Moor, Badgers Cottage is a delightful, dog friendly property, with a wood burning stove to keep you cosy on a blustery autumn day and a quiet garden with far reaching rural views, a perfect spot for a summer al fresco dinner or barbecue. If you are wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of city life you will not find anywhere more peaceful. Accommodation Ground Floor: Conservatory with view over the garden and dining table and chairs, access to double aspect bedroom with zip and link beds, at the other end of the conservatory is a door to the fully equipped kitchen and this further leads through to the hall way with oil fired stove which also provides heating and hot water, further door into the lounge with wood burning stove and comfortable seating. Stairs from the hallway lead to: First Floor: Landing with doors leading to; family bathroom with shower over, hand basin and WC. Master bedroom with panoramic views, 4'6' bed and storage. Exterior: A mature well-tended garden with external seating, gas barbecue, patio and decked area. There is an outside 'gardener's toilet.' There is a parking space for one car in front of the property. The owner also has a large field opposite with veg garden and, on request, these may also be used by guests. Facilities & Services Heating is via oil fired central heating & wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of equipment. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a coffee machine, sandwich toaster and 'George Foreman grill.' The sitting room area has a TV & BluRay DVD player. There is an iron & ironing board. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are permitted at a small additional cost of £35 per dog / per week, although please remember that you cannot leave dogs unattended in the cottage alone. We regret no smoking is permitted. There is a parking space in front of the property and more available on request if required. WiFi is available at the property. General Booking Information Arrival/departure is a Saturday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £200 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.More

Exceptionally clean, very quiet & peaceful with beautiful views over surrounding countryside. Owners helpful & allowed use of their field up road for dogs . Modern newly fitted kitchen. Problem with Wi-Fi at start of stay but quickly resolved. Quite remote so wouldn't suit those...More
