This tranquil countryside retreat is the perfect place to unwind yet only 5 mins from Newtownards. and 30 mins from Belfast All on the one level. Pets can be discussed with an extra charge. Bed settee in lounge for an extra guest for an extra £20 per night. Indoor pool within walking. Wood burning stove. Off concrete farm lane. We have another cottage on site Orchard Cottage that has similar accomodation and similar price.

it is in a very nice place and the cottage has everything you could want. the only thing we would say is it really needs arrows showing the way to it as it is very hard to find but well worth it when you do.

About the neighborhood
Surrounded by green fields and cattle. Other cottages on site. There is a heated indoor pool for hire within walking distance. The Field of Dreams, that does archery , clay pigeon shooting etc is around the corner. Gransha Equestrian Centre is on Kerrs Rd.
Getting around
Not far from towns but in the country so a car needed. If we are at home happy to leave you to restaurants and then can taxi home.

From Newtownards
Follow signs from Newtownards to Donaghadee. Approx 3 miles out of town take right down Kerrs road, signposted for Gransha Equestrian Centre. After one mile on bad S bend turn right up concrete lane, there are usually bins at the end. A number plate on the fence shows 21 to 35. Follow this concrete lane keeping LEFT ( do not go up the hill ). Pass farmhouse no 27 and green shed and turn left up over hill. No 29 is the wee clachan of cottages on your right.

Coming from Belfast head for Bangor A2. Take turn off for Rathgael before Bangor. Proceed to end of Rathgael Road. You pass BP garage and Eurospar and various takeaway food outlets and off license.
