The house is in a quiet location, but a small shopping centre with a coop market is nearby where you can get all you need. The house itself is well equipped and cosy, the garden just lovely and the neighbour was very kind and helpful....More

About the neighborhood
The surrounding Essex villages are delightful;-KIRBY-LE-SOKEN - Has cottages over three hundred years old and St Michael's church has a fine flint tower built in the 1400's, GREAT BENTLEY - Has the largest village green in England.GREAT HOLLAND - St. John's church has a fine medieval church tower.MANNINGTREE AND MISTLEY - Built along the Walls on the River Stour are very picturesque and famous for the swans..DEDHAM VALE - Has been immortalized by the paintings of John Constable. You can hire a rowing boat at Dedham and take a trip along the River Stour as far as Flatford Mill. COLCHESTER - The oldest recorded town in England with it's medieval castle and Roman walls surrounding the town, also home to a vast array of shops and restaurants..HARWICH - Tucked away in the old town of Harwich ...
Getting around
Just a mile from Frinton Station. A good selection of busses from the main Coast Road more from the Triangle Shopping Centre which is a few minutes walk via paved paths and side roads, only one moderately busy road to cross, for children. Peddlars Wood is across the road and the beach at the end of Central Avenue 8 minutes walk. Local Pub 'The Skipper' easy walking distance at the Triangle Shopping Centre nice inexpensive pub food. Also a Café on the Triangle for a light lunch. We have an Iceland and a CO-OP, Chemist and Charity Shops. The Frinton and Walton Community Centre always has something going on and the local Church is very community based.
