Butterwick Cottage is the result of a complete redevelopment of the original Granary building dating back over 300 years. It has been designed and fitted to an exceptionally high specification based on 20 years of experience operating holiday cottages. We think this five star cottage is pretty special with contemporary open plan layout; kitchen/dining area and comfortable open plan lounge with downstairs cloakroom. Both spacious bedrooms have super kingsize beds that can be split into singles, both rooms are en-suite.

Perfect location in modern spacious cottage.
Wonderful modern cottage with all you need for a stay! Our 5th visit to Eastgate cottages but our first stay in Butterwick. Two huge bedrooms with ensuite. Down stairs toilet handy for the oldies. Dog pack is always welcome, our dogs know to search for the hidden treats in the dog blankets. Plenty of parking and a few minutes walk to the centre where there are lots of lovely places to eat, shop.and relax. Very quiet cottage. The staff are always so welcoming and helpful, we will be back!

Lovely cottage
We had a wonderful stay at butterwick cottage we had everything we required for comfortable stay we know this area very well and this has to have been the best cottage we have stayed in everything was perfect staff were all very friendly and approachable the welcome pack was a really nice touch also the video of how everything in the cottage worked was a really nice touch can’t wait to book again for next year .

Holiday at Easgate Cottages
Just returned from a wonderful two weeks at Eastgate cottages. So enjoyable that we have booked for the next two years. We stayed in Butterwick cottage and it had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms very well thought out and designed. The whole area of Eastgate cottages is looked after superbly and it is really comforting to know that if you do have a problem there is always Helen and Brian about to help you out. Just a short walk into the centre of Pickering makes the location ideal. A truly great holiday location.

First Class Once Again
Over many years we have stayed in a number of the cottages.
The accommodation is amazing and its managed and maintained to a very high standard.
The beds are massive and very comfortable.
The cleanliness and attention to detail is first class.
Could not reccomend these cottages highly enough.

Fabulous cottage
Very comfortable cottage in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of all the amenities of Pickering. Superb standard of furnishing, equipment and cleanliness. A real home from home. A great base for visiting North and East Yorkshire. This cottage is ideal for two couples. We will be back to Eastgate Cottages.

Fantastic accommodation in great location
Lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and with 1st. class appliances. Very comfortable and quiet with a good selection of shops, pubs and cafes/restaurants close by. Great for touring the North Yorkshire area.
