Barnard Castle is a beautiful historic market town, just 15 minutes drive away, with an abundance of individual retailers, antique shops and eateries. Here you will also find the impressive Bowes Museum and Barnard castle itself. Less than 20 minutes drive, Bishop Auckland is also worth a visit. At the 'Eleven Arches' project why not experience 'Kyren' the award-winning Light and Sound Show? It's amazing! Woodland is ideally situated to explore County Durham and Northumberland.
