Less than one hour from the airport in Almeria, San Juan de los Terreros is located only 8 km from the busy fishing port of Aguilas and just 12 km from Pulpi, the capital of the municipality to which it belongs. The complex is located directly on a beautiful sandy beach with only a walking and biking path in between to encourage the morning exercise routine. The pool and Jacuzzi are only steps away providing additional forms of exercise plus a refreshing cleanse from the warm sun that shines 300 days a year. History buffs will be intrigued by the castle constructed in 1764 located a short distance from the complex.
Unobstructed views as you are enjoying your morning coffee from the Spanish tiled patio will encourage all who venture to visit this outstanding location to return on a regular basis. The villa has three levels with one bedroom on the first floor and two on the second. The roof-top solarium provides not only a breathtaking view of the ocean but also a shower to remove the perspiration from an invigorating afternoon reading. There is also a stone BBQ for that afternoon or evening meal when you do not wish the day to end.

Fabulous house in a stunning beachfront location. Very well equipped and comfortable. Lovely under developed area offering a more Spanish experience.
Additional benefit of secure garage parking if travelling with a car.
Ava and Richard were great hosts and ensured our holiday was trouble free!

Family Reunion
This was my first time using a vacation rental home to bring the entire family, including grandma and small kids. The place was amazing with wonderful views and the people were top notch. Several beaches within short distance and a few of them handicap accessible. This place exceeded my expectations! Can’t wait to do it again!

Amazing stay!
I had an amazing time! Peggy‘s condo was well equipped with everything we could possibly need.. the condo was in great Condition and super clean! the beds and linens were very comfortable! It was so nice waking up in a Comfortable bed looking out to the ocean. Just a few steps away was a great restaurant bar on the beach and a great little shopping center with a market and a few restaurants everyone was super friendly and we had great service! I would recommend this condo to anyone up for a great Hoilday!

Verwachtingen zijn overtroffen!
Realiteit is fantastisch!
We verbleven in een typisch Spaans torenhuis, gelegen pal aan zee in een prachtig aangelegd en rustig complex Mar de Pulpi met schitterend uitzicht op de Middellandse Zee.
Het huis heeft alle comfort, is luxueus en heel schoon.
Sportmogelijkheden, zwembaden en zee, goede restaurants, allemaal op korte loopafstand.
Kortom:
Het is een ‘must to be here!’
Het is een ‘must to enjoy here!’

Excellent apartment every thing was of the highest quality
Beautiful apartment overlooking the sea. Several restaurants within walking distance. Full British tv with all sky programs. Ava the agent was very helpful. We would love to stay again in the future.

Beautiful villa in very unspoilt and charming part of Spain
The villa is lovely, exactly as advertised and photographed. The communal swimming pools are great and seldomly busy. It's a very relaxing, clean and well maintained complex. The area itself is brilliantly unspoilt or touristy. Playa Carolina is gorgeous. Perfect for families as the water is clear and shallow. There is some great snorkelling too but Chiriniguito Concedores was a real find. It's an amazing place to have a long lazy lunch and incredibly good value for money. Otherwise we loved Canal Nautico and the local complex cafe/restaurant is excellent. The complex chiringuito is pretty good too. Food wise you are spoilt for choice actually.
The little extras the villa offers like the beach equipment and snorkels etc is a super lovely and thoughtful touch. We really really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend for those looking for some real Spanish flavour and not a holiday in Benidorm. You won't regret it.

Great place for relaxing vacation
We had a wonderful time at Mar de Pulpi. I don't think we've ever stayed somewhere that was so well equipped with everything you could possible need. Ava was great to deal with & does a great job of managing things. All in all a fantastic week & we certainly hope to return.

Traumurlaub in perfekter Beach Villa
Wir haben mit 4 Personen eine wunderschöne Woche in der Beach Villa in San Juan de los Terreros genossen. Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum: Perfekte Ausstattung (es fehlt wirklich an nichts), geniale Lage (Nähe zum Strand sowie den beiden genialen Restaurants "Chiringuito Mar de Pulpi" und "La Entrevista" mit dem besten Sea Food im Umkreis) , sehr netter Kontakt zur Eigentümerin Peggy und der Hausverwalterin Ava. Wir verbringen seit vielen Jahren unseren Urlaub in San Juan de los Terreros - dieses Haus ist mit Abstand die beste Unterkunft, in der wir unsere Auszeit genießen durften. Dieses Objekt ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Wir freuen uns bereits auf eine Wiederholung.

DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT (see emailed PDFs for detailed instructions): Via the motorway from Almeria take route A7, in the direction of Lorca, take the exit for Cuevas de Almanzora, pass through Cuevas de Almanzora in the direction for Aguilas – A332. On the main road A332 from Cuevas de Almanzora to Aguilas watch for signposted exit for San Juan de Los Terreros. This will be the first exit for San Juan from the main road. It is signposted for the second exit - Mar de Pulpi - on the roundabout from the slip road. You will see Mar de Pulpi from the road quite easily, it’s a large white complex. You will be met by our property manager Richard Clark in the main (south) parking area adjacent, near the underground parking ramp.
