The accommodation comprises of 3 double bedrooms [ 1 double bed, 2 single, 3 single beds], a bathroom with separate shower, kitchen, lounge and conservatory that leads out to the garden with spectacular views of Ventnor Downs,the town and sea.Excellent garden with great views and space to BBQ , sunbath and relax. The garen is very safe and perfect for children and pets. The Perch has WIFI . Whether you want a beach, walking, relaxing or an exploring holiday; 'The Perch' is a perfect place to base yourself for your activities. Whether dining in or out, you are well catered for as all the amenities are only a 5 minute walk away and first class eateries are within close proximity. Great holiday place
House in great location, close to pubs, cafes & restaurants. Great views to the sea from some bedrooms . Very spacious house, great enclosed safe garden and places to sit in and out. Kitchen exceptionally well stocked with items for cooking. Great place for family / friends to come to.

Isle of Wight Ventnor town house, a real gem!
Comfortable accommodation for family group or get away with friends. Easy access to coastal path, sea front and excellent pubs and eateries and all that Ventnor offers. House is homely and welcoming. Safe enclosed garden. Sea view from garden and 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The accommodation has much to recommend it. In fact we’ve already booked to come again!

Lovely Perch
Wonderful House,near Bus Stop, Shops , Beach and the Coast Path. Exceptionel well equipped, big kitchen so ideal for a Family Stay. Helpful owner

Lovely Place to stay & great location
We stayed here and completed the IOW round the island bike ride in May. The house was very clean and a perfect size for our group of 7. A 2 minute walk to the high street with shops/cafes and a 5 minute walk to beach, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Everything worked well and the owner was great at communication leading up to our stay. Although the road was busy we managed to park two cars right outside the home during our stay. We loved the Isle of Wight decoration throughout and the warm feel of the house. Wonderful views over Ventnor from the house & the decking area at the rear of garden a nice place to relax when the sun is out. A comfortable and lovely stay - would recommend to anybody.

Lovely place.
Really happy we booked this accommodation. It was perfect for us. Clean and tidy. Short walk to the town and beach. Lovely view of the sea. Really good value for money.

Lovely home with glorious views. Great if you don’t need close parking.
What a stunning home in a stunning location. Fantastic for our large family to spread out and an incredibly pleasant holiday base. Very homely and comfortable. Communicative owners pre and during holiday who clearly do their best to maintain it. The only things stopping me saying it was excellent are: it was advertised with a freezer but there wasn’t one which meant we had frozen food ordered on a shopping delivery when we arrived and nowhere to put it; the owners should have been more honest about the lack of on-street parking before booking. Whilst it’s specified as “on street” you’d be lucky! In reality, be prepared for it to often be an entirely different street to the house! It’s only about a week before you go, you get more information explaining how difficult it can be and suggesting a paid car park in town might be an option. If you don’t plan on using your car a lot though, or are happy to be parked a distance away each day, it’s a perfect location. We would happily recommend to others.

About the neighborhood
This quaint Victorian seaside resort is located at the southern end of the island and accessed via an array of steep winding roads set amidst truly stunning scenery. Sheltered by St. Boniface Down- one of the island's highest points and an 'area of outstanding natural beauty', this charming town has a uniquely mild climate which suprisingly enables tropical and exotic plants to grow throughout the area. The sandy and fine shingle beaches provide excellent facilities for watersports and offer a range of stunning coastal paths to explore. The harbour sells a broad range of fresh fish and seafood in various outliets. A wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants line the esplanade- while the Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit. With plenty to see and do around the island for all the family- including great walking and cycling opportunities, medieval castles, historic houses and a variety of gardens and waterfalls, this great holiday destination has plenty to offer at any time of year! The busier town of Newport is just 16 kilometers and Cowes is only 20 kilometers away!

Parking available on the street and local streets . However it is first come first served . If can't find a space there are plenty of car parks in ventnor and you can buy a 7 day parking ticket which you can use all over the island and is good value .

How to get there
Travel to the Isle of Wight by Ferry. You have a choice of three mainland ferry ports: Southampton (Red Ferries), Portsmouth and Lymington (Wight Ferries). - www.redfunnel.co.uk - www.wightlink.co.uk Portsmouth to the port of Fishbourne.. From Fishbourne, travel east on the A3054 through the town of Ryde and then travel south on the A3055. This will take you past the towns of Brading, Sandown and Shanklin. You will then arrive in the town of Ventnor. Southampton to the port of Cowes.. From Cowes, travel south on the A3020 through the town of Newport. You will pass the towns of Blackwater and Godshill before travelling south via the B3327 (near Whiteley Bank) arriving in Ventnor soon afterwards. Lymington to the port of Yarmouth.. From Yarmouth, travel west on the A3055 past Totland (where the road turns east), Freshwater, Chale and Niton and then you will arrive in Ventnor.
