We stayed at this property in October half term and had a wonderful stay. We loved the location more than anything. This property is slap bang in the thick of everything, down a quite road. We used our car twice on our 5 day trip,...More

A really cute little cottage in a fab location. A very welcoming cosy home from home feel and would recommend to family and friends ( although tall people may find it a bit more challenging!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

About the neighborhood
Duckling Cottage really is the ideal location to go out and see all that the resort has to offer. If exploring the historical places of interest within the resort and the surrounding county of Dorset is something you wish to do, then again the cottage is in the perfect location to be the base for any adventure you may plan .The cottage itself is said to be within the area where a certain King George visited his mistress through secret tunnels. Turton street was named after the royals head physician John Turton; who was given the property at the entrance to the street to tend to the late King George bouts of madness. The famous Nothe Fort, sea life centre, tank museum and monkey world is a must for young and old.
