Forest Glen is a lovingly restored and charming cottage ideally situated in the heart of the New Forest National Park with the open forest only yards from the front door. The village of Brockenhurst with its shops, cafes and pubs, is less than a mile away. Forest Glen is ideal for a relaxing self-catering break with four bedrooms sleeping 7- 8 people. The master bedroom has a super king size bed with en suite shower room. Further bedrooms consist of a double bedroom, a twin room and a single bedroom with a single truckle bed underneath which is on wheels so can easily be pulled out to provide another (low-level) single bed. There is a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. All the recreational facilities available in the New Forest are all within easy reach of the property. Perfect place for the extended family
A beautiful large house nestled in Brockenurst, a short distance walk from fun, frolics and forest 🌳 This was the ideal location for a short family break. There was plenty of space for two lively little ones to play in and for adults to relax in. Comfortably furnished, well equipped and clean. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

New Years Stay
We had such a lovely time at Forest Glen over New Years for my other half’s 30th birthday. Both my children age 4 and 1 thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space and play equipment. Forest Glen is in a perfect location for Forest walks and muddy puddles. The holiday home itself is gorgeous with plenty of space and lots of rooms to entertain a family in. Definitely worth every penny!

Home away from home
Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Ideally located in rural setting but only minutes away from Brockenhurst. Lovely secluded garden with playhouse, slide and trampoline, which our 3 year old definitely appreciated. Communication with owner was great in advance and all in all a very pleasant home and stay

Perfect for Family Get Together
A perfect home to meet with extended family. Clean, tidy and quiet. Grandson was delighted with the trampoline! Spent lovely evenings in the conservatory. We will be back!

Absolutely brilliant
Location central to everything’ ie forest 🌳 pubs - seaside - restaurants Very large clean holiday house. No need to use your car with train station just down the road and tour buses running every hour. We will be staying again great family holiday 👍 new forest so relaxing

Great location and perfect family house
On the outskirts of Brockenhurst and with close access into the forest for lots of walks and cycle rides. The house was perfect for our 3 generation family and the children loved the garden complete with the climbing frame and trampoline. The house is so well equipped and the owner very friendly and helpful.

We have had a great family holiday at the house for my wife’s 60th birthday. There is so much space for all of us to have time out when needed but great family space for eating and socialising. Made good use of the barbecue.

Perfect Family Cottage!
Just returned from a fantastic two weeks at this great cottage. Two active boys were thrilled with the garden, fort and trampoline along with the close access to the forest for bike riding. Perfect for the summer with a patio and seating for six, bbq and views over the countryside. The cottage had plenty of space for the whole family and if you are travelling with young children there are high chairs, stair gate, toys, separate play room, kids tumblers/plates which is all a bonus. Walking distance to Brockenhurst with its shops (highly recommend the bakery/butcher/greengrocer) and pubs, one of which has an outdoor playground. Very easy to arrange booking the cottage with all queries answered quickly. Thanks for a great stay!!

The only way to reveal The New Forest's hidden gems and truly appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the forest is to get out there and explore. As well as the forest itself there is a wealth of local activities to please all members of your party - - Miles of cycling and walking tracks with numerous local cycle hire shops - Choice of local riding stables to explore the forest on horseback - Beaches of Milford on Sea, Mudeford, Avon and Bournemouth all easily accessible Local attractions such as Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens, Paultons Park, Calshot Activity Centre - Sailing and canoeing - Ferry links from Lymington to Isle of Wight - The renowned restaurant 'The Pig' is within walking distance of Forest Glen (and we can personally vouch for the quality of food!)

How to get there
BY CAR - Leave the M27 at Junction 1 and at the roundabout follow the signs for New Forest and Lyndhurst. At the next roundabout take the third exit to Lyndhurst on the A337. Continue on this road until reaching the traffic lights at Lyndhurst. Turn left onto the High Street and then turn right following the signs for A337 to Lymington. Keep in the left hand lane and bear left onto Clay Hill still following the signs for A337. Continue for approximately 2.5 miles and then turn left into Balmer Lawn Road which is marked B3055 to Beaulieu. Continue on Balmer Lawn Road for a short distance and the property is the sixth house on the right hand side. It is the first painted house (cream coloured) BY TRAIN - Brockenhurst Railway Station is just under a mile from the property and has excellent national rail links with direct trains from London Waterloo. BY AIR - Southampton Parkway Airport is approximately 18 miles from the property by road and also has a direct rail link to Brockenhurst Station. Bournemouth International Airport is approximately 17 miles by road BY FERRY - the Ferry terminal to the Isle of Wight is approximately 5.5 miles away in Lymington.
