We stayed for a couple of nights at the end of October when on a cycling holiday in the New Forest. Dearholm was an excellent base close to lots of cycle tracks and within easy reach of several lovely villages and towns by bike. The house is clean, comfortable, well presented and well equipped. This is our fifth stay at Dearholm and it is always a pleasure. The house is cleaning and welcoming and the owner always pops round to welcome you. It is easy access to some beautiful walks in the forest and the ponies, cows and donkeys are welcome visitor at the garden gate. The train station is at the top of...

Lovely house in great location. Very helpful and friendly owner, and having wine and cakes left for us was a really lovely touch. We had a wonderful time and would return in a heartbeat next time we're planning another trip to the New Forest. Thank you!

Short breaks are either Fri, Sat, Sun (3 nights) or Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs (4 nights) and are charged at 70% of the weekly rate. They are not accepted in peak weeks.
A £200 refundable breakages/damage deposit is required per booking and returned to you after the holiday provided there are no breakages or mishaps. If booked more than 8 weeks in advance then a 20% deposit taken with the balance due 8 weeks before the holiday. If booked less than 8 weeks in advance then full payment required at time of booking.

Brockenhurst is situated in the heart of the New Forest and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as cycle hire and horse-riding stables. Ponies, cows and donkeys roam freely around the village and sometimes even pigs can be seen hunting for acorns!
