It offers 3 double bedrooms (1 en suite) with a large open plan kitchen and living area, private enclosed garden and patio with views of the lough. Secure parking and access to private jetty. Full central heating , linen and towels , Freeview, RTE and Wi-Fi provided.
Ideal for, walking, bird watching and fishing with easy access to all of Fermanagh and Cavans local tourist attractions or just complete peaceful relaxation

Gorgeous cottage - tranquil location. The cottage has everything you need in a quiet picturesque location with lovely views over the Loch. The cottage is nice and spacious, with a light and airy feel, a home from home. If you want a countryside holiday then this is worth a look. Would definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Derrydoon. Cottage was perfect it has everything you need and more especially for a family there is everything you would need for a toddler eg high chair and travel cot. A great enclosed back garden with lovely views of the lake. Mary and Nigel went out of their way to help us with directions and had a lovely hamper waiting for us with the essentials tea, sugar biscuits and milk. We will definitely be back again and would recommend this to anyone looking a family break in a quiet peaceful location.

A fabulous cottage in a great location.
Derrydoon is a fabulous cottage in a great location. It has great views of Lough Erne which can be enjoyed sitting out on the patio. From the moment we opened the front door we were really pleased with everything in the cottage. It has been tastefully furnished and is by far the best equipped cottage that we have stayed in. Mary and Nigel have thought of everything including providing a hair dryer which I was relieved to see when I realised that I had forgotten mine.They were also really helpful in providing directions and information by email and on the phone and came across as really caring that guests staying at Derrydoon should enjoy their stay. We cannot recommend Derrydoon highly enough and we will definitely return in the future.

Just perfect!
This holiday rental exceeded all our expectations from the day I booked it. Nigel and Mary were just fantastic in ensuring the pre-holiday arrangements went smoothly. It's a stunning house with everything we could possibly needed, just there. It's set in a postcard pretty quiet area, and I enjoyed having my morning cup of tea, watching the swans on the lake. We travelled a lot during the day (driven over 1200 miles in a week) but the evenings were spent at the house with home cooked meals, and relaxing with some Olympic action on the TV. Even my teenagers had a great time. Highly recommended !

Very relaxing stay
We rented this cottage for Halloween weekend.Had enjoyed our stay every minute.House very clean and modern,beutifull views,very quiet.Will come back again.Highly recommended!

Very relaxing stay

Just perfect
Location was very peaceful, hosts very helpful, place spotless, all amenities required and there were no inefficiencies with time or messing around with deposits etc. I would highly recommend a stay here, especially if you are into fishing or relaxation.

Perfect peace
What a fantastic cottage to stay. The cottage one of four has three bedrooms one which is un suite it has all mod cons and is very clean and tidy. You will also have peace and quiet with lovely views over the lough

Fabulous cottage with a warm welcome.
This fabulous cottage had everything you could ask for. It was well equipped with a welcome basket which meant no groceries needed to be bought until the following day. Any problems or advice were quickly and easily solved. The few toys were a great find for a 2 and 9 year old. The cottage had gorgeous views and was in a peaceful location. Would definitely recommend a stay in this cottage.

Haven of peace and tranquillity!
Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful by the Lough. Very well equipped home from home which is spotlessly clean too. Incredibly family friendly space both inside and outside with a host of thoughtful little touches from the owners. We will return for another visit!

From Lisnaskea.
Follow the road to Newtownbutler (A34). When you get to Newtownbutler head straight across the
mini roundabout towards Cavan / Dublin.
After 300 yards just past the church take the right fork in the road signposted Galloon Island.
Follow the road for approximately 2 miles to a crossroads.
Head straight on towards Galloon Island / Galloon Jetty (1.25 miles)
After approx 3/4 mile there is a sharp right hand bend, then a soft left hand bend.
As you come out of that bend you will see Derrydoon Cottages on your left hand side.
