Stayed here with my brother & sisters & brothers in laws , very good place to stay , very cosy . Colin & his wife have a great place , had lots of extra touches to what u would expect. Was extremely happy with our stay & would most definitely go back again . Thank u both very much

My family and myself stayed in the flat which was a 4 bedroom downstairs flat during my daughters wedding in Orkney. It was really well equipped and the owners even had milk, tea bags, coffee etc there for us. Owners were so friendly and helpful. We had a look at the upstairs accommodation and it included an outside veranda with good views. Id recommend this property to anyone who wants self catering accommodation as its comfortable, clean with has everything you need and is a great base for seeing the sites from.

Conveniently situated a short walk from Kirkwall's pubs and restaurants. The flat is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Very quiet at night. On arrival it was nice to find tea and coffee in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. Owners friendly and helpful. Will certainly consider staying here again.

Great base for viewing the attractions of Orkney. An easy walk into the centre of Kirkwall and easy travel to important sites suck as Brodgar, Skara Brae, Tomb of the Eales, etc., etc. Supermarkets within a few minutes drive as well. The flat is exceptionally clean and has all that is necessary. A good place to stay.

The flat was of a good size for our group, with all the essentials needed for cooking, cleaning etc. Only one of the rooms was in fact ensuite(advertising led us to believe they all were), but the shower rooms/toilets were very close to the other bedrooms. The space was clean. !owners friendly and helpful, even at 11.30pm when we arrived there! The location is good, though the walk into town may be a little on the long side for anybody elderly or with some kind of walking issues.Otherwise perfectly located for trips to Stromness, Kirkwall and other sites of interest. The Highland Park Distillery is within walking distance just around the corner!

Me and five university friends came to Orkney to finish off the work for our final year. The flat is very comfortable and cosy with nice sofas and a large dinning table to work around and eat around. The kitchen is well stocked and we good nice meals together. The rooms all have very comfy double beds with clean fresh sheets. The accommodation is a 10 minute walk to the centre of Kirkwall where there is cafes and shops to visit. It's also a 20 minute walk to the beach which was really relaxing and nice to visit. We had a really nice stay! Really friendly and helpful owner, would recommend to a friend.

We really enjoyed our stay here....it was a home from home. We were a party of 6, incorporating 2 families and the flat accommodated us perfectly! It was lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable and having three toilets was great! Online correspondence before booking was very quick and friendly and we received a warm welcome from the hosts, Christine and Colin on our arrival and throughout our stay. We felt sad to leave, and will definitely try to book again if we return in the future.

There were 7 adults in our party and so the 4 double bedrooms were ideal. We were greeted by the owner despite it being after 11pm when we arrived. Very friendly and welcoming and available throughout our stay for advice and information. The flat was very well equipped and spotlessly clean, tea, coffee, milk, shortbread and cereal provided which was a lovely touch. Located close to town (10-15 minute walk) and buses available at the end of the road. Would certainly book again and highly recommend The Flat.

Friendly owner in the adjacent house to help with any questions. Near Kirkwall town centre, about a 15-minute walk. Local bus passes at the end of the road around every 25 minutes.
