Interaction with guests
Independent home from home but under the same roof as the rest of this very large property. Come and go as you please, as there's a key safe for access to your separate front door. If you need to ask us anything, we're usually available, and we are always happy to talk about the old mill and its history as well as about the wildlife in the extensive riverside garden.

The accommodation was presented and equipped to a very high standard and spotlessly clean and comfortable. Although the owners lived the other side of a connecting door in the main house, they were friendly, welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. We found the location was...More

About the neighborhood
Semi-rural on the edge of Lymington and the New Forest National Park. The mill house is set in its own large, idyllic woodland and riverside garden.
Getting around
It is possible to walk to Lymington, but it's mostly road, so a car is unfortunately better. We occasionally see a bus at the bus stop nearby, but the service is infrequent. Guests often walk across the fields opposite us to the little harbour hamlet of Keyhaven and the sea wall path known as the Solent Way, which leads to Lymington and beyond. Lovely views from there across the Solent to the Needles and the Isle of Wight.
