a glorious stay in this delightful barn
Here we are back home after a most glorious stay in this delightful barn. We were all so very impressed by the conversion - stylish, comfortable plus the gorgeous view out of the window. The beds were very comfortable and i did love the bed linen. My sister and her husband joined us for a few days, and we all enjoyed it very much. The devon country side is unbeatable and we had a few beautiful days.

Lovely barn conversion in a great location
Plymton Barn exceeded our expectations with all of its home comforts and location within walking distance of the beach and short drive from Salcombe. The wet room with heated floor, wifi and dishwasher were particularly welcome! We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to holiday in this area.

fantastic, modern barn in a superb location
This is a delightful barn with all the comforts of home - everything is new and of good quality and it has a wonderful wet room. The location is superb: there are some wonderful country walks on your doorstep; the nearest beach (South Sands) is only 15-minutes on foot, with Hope Cove, Thurlstone and Bantham beach just a short drive away and Salcombe (for shopping and eating) is 10 minutes by car. I thoroughly recommend this holiday barn.

Luxury in a great location
Had a great week here at Plympton Barn, great accommodation, comfortable beds and pillows, great fresh air ventilation gives a great night's sleep. Huge attention to detail and finished to a very high standard we would not hesitate to recommend. In terms of the area, near to South and North Sands and the town of Salcombe. Bigbury and Bantham are also great beaches, with the sea tractor at Bigbury, which takes you across to The Pilchard Inn when the tide comes in.

Beautifully presented accommodation near to lovely Devon beaches.
Plympton Barn oferd stylish, clean and comfortable accommodation for our family. The owners and hosts were very helpful and we were greeted on arrival. The walk to the beach took about 15 minutes which was fine so long as we didn't have much to carry. There are some lovely footpaths for walking out from the house although we did need to use the car quite a lot for outings. We have teenage children and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic property in stunning location
We had a fantastic few days in Plympton Barn - a beautiful modern conversion in a peaceful spot in the South Hams, with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The open plan living area is a lovely space to cook, eat and relax. Once we arrived we didn't need to use the car. The beach at South Sands is a short walk away and a little further on, Salcombe has everything you need. Could have happily stayed much longer.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay!
Had an incredible time in Salcombe in this wonderful modern barn conversion. Very spacious, modern and very close to South Sands. The owners were extremely nice and pleasant. The cottage had all the mod cons, Freesat HD, Wifi, Dishwasher, washing machine and even a wood burner! We had a fantastic time, and looking forward to booking again in the Summer. I thoroughly recommend it- much more preferable to some of the miserable looking 'hotels' in the area...! Was about 15 minutes walk to South Sands and a 10 minute drive to Salcombe, Tescos and Co-op were very close! Loved our time there.

Beautiful barn in lovely location
We had a very enjoyable stay at Plympton Farm Barn. The Barn exceeded all our expectations - newly renovated to the highest standard this Barn is a 'little gem' and we hope to return in the future. The living and kitchen area are on the first floor with bedrooms on the ground floor and this property is therefore not suitable for families with very young children. A wonderful property and a first class booking service through the Owner.

Idyllic surroundings with high quality in both decor and fitments
The property was very clean and a high standard of decor and fitments. We were looked after very well by the owners and given help and guidance regarding places to visit and eat. It was a very quiet location and ideal for a relaxing holiday. We will book again and consider 2 weeks holiday.

A peaceful retreat ideally situated for short walks to nearby beaches.
We were a group of four adults and loved the peaceful rural location of this beautifully converted barn. It was in an ideal situation to combine rural walks with visits to the nearby Southa Sands beach and it's good hotel facilities and restaurants.Overbecks( National Trust) and stunning coastal walks and secluded coves are close by. It was very well appointed in contemporary style with underfloor heating and automatic lighting, great wet room and bath and lovely open plan living area with lots of light. Definitely a good place to return to for a get away from it all holiday with the convenience of local amenities.
