Luxury Lodge Stay, everything you need to unwind.
Just returned from a 3 night stay and loved every minute. Spacious Lodge with comfy lounge area where you can really spread out and relax in the couch and double armchairs. Beds are very comfortable which is a must. Kitted out with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Clean throughout, good sized bathroom and en suite in the master bedroom. Kitchen has everything you need, you don’t need to bring a thing. Great sized wrap around Veranda for entertaining and admiring the amazing views across the Moors. Quiet, small site, wildlife on the door step to watch. Thanks Tracy for an amazing stay.

A PERFECT CHRISTMAS GETAWAY
We decided to choose this lodge for our family to spend Christmas together- it did not disappoint- we arrived to the lodge with wonderful big tree and tasteful decorations around the whole of the lodge, and a lovely box of Christmas shortbread & chocolates. The owners had gone above and beyond making our stay extra special and magical for our children, and for this we are so grateful- the place was absolutely spotless- we are not pet owners- and apart from the gorgeous art on the walls you could never tell it was pet friendly as it had been so well cleaned 🧹 even though the weather was not great, the cosy fire and the rain falling on the full length windows with a spectacular view of fields and animals made it a delight to stay inside and cosy up on the comfortable furniture. Thankyou Tracey for making our Christmas one to remember- we will be back!

Perfect
It's been a long time since I have been able to have a break. Was such a delight to find Cedar Lodge and the icing on the cake was Tracy let me bring my dogs. They are very well behaved but most places won't allow them. The Lodge is spotlessly clean with lots of homely touches. The view is stunning and it is lovely and peaceful, I wish I had stayed longer. Can't recommend enough. You are in a position that opens up so many places to visit. Hoping I can save up to come again.

Impressive accommodation in a picturesque area of Tavistock
We had spent weeks looking for a holiday let where they would accommodate two dogs and allow them to be left alone in the property. Thankfully we discovered Cedar View Lodge. Tracy was extremely accommodating and was happy for us to do so on the understanding that the dogs would cause no damage. On arrival to our accommodation we were immediately impressed with this beautiful lodge. Everything was well thought out and gave us everything required for a relaxing holiday. With the sumptuous furnishings, beautiful and quirky artwork/ornaments and a very pleasant ambience, we most certainly wanted to move in and stay permanently!! An added touch was the cuddly toys provided for young visitors. Very welcomed essentials were also provided, which was well appreciated after a long journey. Tracy even surprised us with a bottle of wine and some beers to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was a lovely gesture. An added bonus was having two bathrooms. This was very convenient when getting ready to go out! We also loved the large balcony. This gave us the opportunity to sit and wile away the hours and watch the very dark skies at night! Stunning! This was was an ideal base set in a peaceful setting, with fantastic views. The lodge is a 10 minute drive to Tavistock and well worth a visit. The only downside was having to drive places to walk our dogs off the lead. Brentor Church was recommended by Tracy and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed walking here (until we discovered cows there on our final visit)! This resulted in us driving around to find somewhere else more suitable. Despite this Brentor Church is a definite must to visit. Overall we would definitely go back and would most certainly recommend that others give the lodge some consideration when booking their next break. Thank uou to Tracy and Gus for our memorable stay and for offering a genuine pet-friendly holiday.

Peaceful, comfortable and well equipped
We had a fantastic stay at Cedar Lodge. The lodge itself is so well equipped and extremely comfortable to be in. The location is very peaceful with lovely open views over fields. We were so close to lots of great places to visit - a huge choice of things to which was great for the kids. The lodge owners were great - good communication, lots of info about places to visit, and easy to get in touch with. We didn’t take a dog but it’s very clear that dogs are most welcome and there are lots of great walks nearby. We would definitely recommend cedar lodge and hope to stay again.

Amazing
Two weeks in this lovely lodge, with two relations from New Zealand. On arrival it was apparent that the Lodge had been cleaned to a high standard, and immediatley felt like a home from home, as opposed to a "holiday let." Furnishings, and equipment, were all in super condition, and there was ample kitchen crockery, glasses, and cutlery. Nearby Tavistock town is so lovely, and welcoming, and trips to the coast are easily accessable, and quite nearby. We were contacted by Tracey, to ensure that all was to our satisfaction; a nice gesture, rather than having no contact. A fantastic two weeks holiday, in a lovely Lodge. Thank you, Tracey.

Gorgeous lodge, stunning views and dog friendly!
We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful lodge. Everything has been thought of to make it a home from home experience with added luxury. We took our two dogs who were most impressed with the treats waiting for them on arrival and enjoyed watching the squirrels and sheep close by. The location is just perfect. Literally turn right out of the park to explore Devon and left to visit Cornwall. We discovered fabulous beaches and great places to eat and each day was rounded off perfectly returning to the comfort of our lovely lodge.
