The quirky cottage was originally the Ticketing Hall within Tavistock Railway Station. It has been restored and transformed into a 5 Star Gold (Visit Britain 2011/2012) holiday cottage for four people. <BR><BR>We are situated in the perfect location from which to enjoy beautiful views over Dartmoor and Tavistock, the market town is just a short stroll away. We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The conversion has been completed really well providing comfortable accommodation but leaving the shell of the station buildings intact. Steps provide easy access into town, if a little steep on return! This is also right by the very pretty walk along the viaduct. Local attractions worth visiting include Lydford Gorge and Dingles...

This accommodation is well located near the centre of Tavistock with parking for a couple of cars. Tavistock is a good base for exploring Dartmoor and other nearby attractions. From being met at the door by the friendly owner until we checked out we had a perfect stay.Everything was 5 star as promised and met up to our expectations. The additional touches ,fresh cake and provisions were most welcome . Thank you we will certainly return.Mabel and Paul (Loch Lomond )

The Ticketing Hall has one family bathroom and a shower room en-suite. <BR>It sleeps up to four people, in one double bedroom and one twin room, plus a young child (in a cot). <BR>It is decorated in a traditional Victorian style.<BR>The Ticketing Hall is located in the centre of the Station. <BR>The spacious entrance hall is laid with beautiful Victorian tiles. <BR>The original panelling and ticket windows remain and now form a wall between the lounge and kitchen diner.
