A farmhouse table and chairs with low level lighting and comfortable seating are made all the more cosy by the underfloor heating. The spacious beamed bedroom can be configured with either a super kingsize bed or two generous-sized singles. Freesat TV is again available. The stunning en suite bathroom has a fully tiled walk in shower and slipper bath, perfect for luxuriating with a glass of something special!
Outside is a small private courtyard and terrace, fully equipped for al fresco dining; all set within the friendly owners' English county garden.
The Plough Inn, a renowned country dining pub, is 150 yards away (200 yards on the way back!) and offers meal delivery if required. Another great country pub, the Bowl, is less than a mile away.
Kindling cottage, what a wonderful place to stay. Everything a couple could want, in a self catering cottage. A very practical lounge, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor.
Upstairs, a fabulous queen sized bed, and a bathroom to die for.
The hosts Chrissie and Frank could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Loads to do and see if your history fanatics like us. National Trust properties, Dover castle and Leeds castle in easy reach.

Delightful accommodation in peaceful location
Had a week long stay at Kindling cottage .The cottage was lovely - very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was a pleasure to return to after a days sightseeing. The location is perfect for trips to places such as Canterbury and the coast. We particularly enjoyed Whitstable and Sandwich. There are numerous gardens and NT properties in the surrounding area - all worth a visit. We hope to return as there are still places we did not have time to visit. The very pleasant hosts Frank and Chris are nearby should you need any help . Thank you for a lovely stay!

Tranquil
Quietly tucked away in the Kent North Downs this cottage is truly luxurious and has been lovingly finished to a high standard. We were welcomed by Frank and Chrissy with fresh flowers and a thoughtful collection of breakfast basics to start us off. Great location to explore Kent attractions. Loved the Buttercup Sanctuary for Goats. Our hosts were kind and informative while giving us plenty of privacy.

We had a great week at Kindling cottage. Frank and Christine were very friendly and welcoming. Everything in the cottage was perfect, milk and butter in the fridge on arrival along with some homemade jam and bread and pasta.
From the cottage we were able to visit a number of NT properties, Dover castle, Whitstable and not to be missed Leeds castle!

Sehr empfehlenswertes Cottage

Doesn't get any better than this!
I've spent decades holidaying in various types of self-catering accommodation all over the country but this has been, without doubt, the best. An immaculately clean, very comfortable property in the heart of rural Kent within easy walking distance of The Plough Inn (serving great local cider and delicious food). Many, many thanks to our splendid hosts, Frank & Chrissie for making this an excellent holiday.
