Amazing host
My 6th stay and 4th with our group of girls. Jackie is an amazing host. She had put a lot of effort into maintaining the property. We usually visit late November for the Chatsworth Xmas market and Jackie always sets up the apartment with very tasteful Xmas decorations. I have also stayed with family for a birthday. Jackie excelled on our last visit, 3 of the girls were celebrating a milestone birthday. Jackie very kindly took extra time out to put in birthdays balloons cake and fizz ready for our arrival Overall great stays with no complaints and we will definitely be back soon. Michelle 💕

Luxury Apartment in great location
This is a stunning apartment right in the historic centre of Buxton, close to the Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, with lots of period features (including the original wooden window shutters). Shops are only a few minutes away, including supermarkets, some high street stores, and numerous cafes and tea-rooms. The apartment has everything you need for any length of stay, and the host Jackie always prepares the accommodation to the highest standard. The kitchen is very well equipped, all the furnishings are of good quality, and it's spotlessly clean on arrival. The reception rooms are capacious to say the least, with a ton of space to enjoy family meals at the large, round dining table, or relaxing with games (there are plenty of these supplied) or TV/DVDs in the massive but comfortable living room. The flat is big enough to sleep 7 comfortably in two large bedrooms (the larger room has an 'annexe with bunkbeds, and the smaller one has an en-suite shower room) and a sofa-bed in the living room (for which extra bed linen is provided). The apartment is large enough not to feel on top of each other if you're stuck inside on a rainy day. There's parking for just one car, but there's plenty of free parking less than 3 minutes walk away. We've been several times and return each year - I think that speaks volumes!!

A Hidden Gem in Buxton!
Fabulous stay at Joseph Apartment! Beautiful apartment - very spacious and immaculately clean. Photos do not do it justice! Fantastic location - literally round the corner from the Opera House, pavilion gardens and high street. We made the most of the wintery weather with a walk to Solomons Temple followed by a pub lunch - lots to choose from right on the doorstep! Can’t wait to visit again with family and friends!

Beyond expectations!
Jackie, the host is super! She was very helpful when we arrived with our 2 sleeping children and luggage; also very generous! The fridge was stocked with milk, a welcome cake and cookie for each kid (local). We didn't have to worry about shopping to stock up on too many essentials as the apartment already had tea, coffee, sugar, sponges, dish soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent, as well as toiletries. Oooo and pods for the coffee machine! The apartment is super spacious with high ceilings and gorgeous large windows and fabulously located, within walking distance to everything Buxton has to offer, we even walked to Poole's Cavern with our 8 and 4 year old. The apartment was super clean and had plenty to keep us busy with on rainy days. The drawers had colouring books and pencils for adults & kids, there were tons of puzzles, games and some great DVDs.

Just as good as our first visit
This really is the perfect place to stay in Buxton. The apartment is vast, clean, very comfortably furnished, in an excellent location and fantastic value for money. As we have family near by I feel sure this won’t be our last visit to Joseph Apartments. Highly recommend.
