Enjoyed a couple of nights at this beautiful apartment with four friends. Perfect location, thoughtful welcome pack, and immaculately clean. The perfect mini-break. We loved it so much, we made our second reservation (for later in the year) whilst still there. Would highly recommend!

Excellent

This is the 4th visit to this gorgeous apartment. We can't fault the area; accommodation; service. I am certain the finishing touches to this property would impress anyone and I have no hesitation in recommending this place to a family or friendship group.

Just as good as our first visit

This really is the perfect place to stay in Buxton. The apartment is vast, clean, very comfortably furnished, in an excellent location and fantastic value for money. As we have family near by I feel sure this won’t be our last visit to Joseph Apartments. Highly recommend.

Very nice apartment to stay in for the middle of Buxton.

Very centrally positioned in the heart of Buxton close to all facilities.Most of the apartment is lovely and spacious, but the kitchen and second bedroom are on the small side. This is not a major problem with the kitchen,as the dining room is very large, however the second bedroom was found to be small particularly the shower room.

Lovely apartment

Perfect

A beautiful apartment that was absolutely perfect for our few days in Buxton. It is very clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and has all the things you would need for your stay. Jackie was warm and welcoming and provided a lovely welcome pack of teas,coffee etc that were far superior to many hotels! The location is a short walk to the Opera House and an excellent starting point for many walks. Would definitely stay at Joseph Apartment if I visited Buxton again and would recommend to anyone visiting. A perfect stay!

Perfect. The host will do everything to make sure your stay is perfect. We've been visiting for the last 4 years. We have been going away in the same group for the last 8 years to different places, however Joseph apartment is so lovely it's now our only go to place.

The apartment was perfect for our needs. Attention to detail was very good. The owner had supplied a welcome pack (without asking) that puts big hotels to shame. There was 4 adults and a baby and we all had loads of space. Would definitely recommend to others.

Incredible apartment with an amazing hostess

I stayed here with my 3 year old twins, my sister, mum, 13 year old niece and my sister's friend. The apartment was incredibly spacious which made evenings cosy and relaxing rather than feeling on top of each other. The apartment is furnished with everything we needed plus Jackie was thoughtful enough to provide tea, coffee, milk, sugar chocolates, biscuits (I could go on) and even boiled the kettle as I arrived. Any instructions required were clearly set out and made the whole stay a breeze. The apartment is centrally located and right opposite the Pavilion Gardens (brilliant place for children) I'd definitely recommend the Joseph apartment and will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

How to get there

From Ashbourne A515, go through Fiveways traffic lights and up over the market place. Go down the hill and turn left after the pedestrian crossings. Continue past the Crescent, then take the first right. Continue past The Old Hall Hotel and the next building is The Square. Turn right at the corner of The Square and No 3 is on the right. (Middle door).From Bakewell A6, turn left at Morrison’s roundabout and continue for approx 2 minutes, through one set of traffic lights until you reach Fiveways traffic lights. Turn right and then follow directions above. From Manchester A6, turn right at the first roundabout and go under the viaduct. Go straight over the next two roundabouts towards the Railway station. Pass the station and go straight over the next roundabout and take the second left down Water Street (Before the A53). Pass the Opera House on your right and The Square is on the left.From A53, A54, A537, go straight over traffic lights on to St John's Rd. Branch right down Water Street (Just before the church). Go past the Opera House (On right) and The Square is opposite. Nearest Railway station is Buxton. Turn right out of station and then follow directions above from Manchester A6. Local bus transport from Manchester, Derby and Sheffield.
