Hay Town Flat is on the ground floor of an 18th Century Grade II Listed character property, centrally located in the lovely town of Hay-on-Wye. The apartment is self-contained and sleeps a maximum of 5 people. The spacious double bedroom with king-size bed can be converted to a family-room, if required, by adding a full size single bed. The sofa bed in the sitting area can sleep a further one or two persons and a cot and high chair is also available. (If you require beds, other than the king-size bed, please let me know when you book). There is a good size shower room. A comfortable open-plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area, and sitting room is enhanced by old oak beams, wooden floors and stone fireplace. There are various activities on offer in the area from canoeing, fishing and cycling to pony-trekking and gliding.With 'Offa's Dyke Path' and the 'Wye Valley Walk' practically on the doorstep, within walking distance of the River Wye and a short 4.5 mile drive to Hay Bluff and the Black Mountains - makes Hay Town Flat the place to be.The Bus stop is just 50 yds from the flat so ideal for those people without a car. Hay Town Flat is located on the Welsh Border between Hereford and Brecon in the town of Hay-on-Wye (HR3 5DF) at the junction of Castle Street (B4350) and Oxford Road (B4348) and opposite the Blue Boar Inn. By Train and Bus:- Train to Hereford and Bus Service 39 (39A on Sundays) from Hereford to Hay-on-Wye. Bus from Hereford to Hay takes approx. 1 Hour.
