The two double bedrooms have a share bathroom with bath and separate shower. There is one double bedroom on the ground floor with a shared family bathroom.
The well equipped kitchen and dining is a wonderful space for cooking up a feast for dinner parties featuring a large oak dining table and cosy wood burning stove for chilly nights in. On summer days open the bifold doors and let the sunshine in.
Outdoors the three level deck overlooks the garden and hot tub area. The perfect atmosphere from enjoying alfresco breakfasts, sunny afternoon drinks or family BBQs.
The Ranch also offers BBQ facilities and a spacious rear garden and grassed area that leads to the banks of the Glen Massan river only 50 metres away. Note this river is unfenced.
Glen Massan is a wonderful base to explore this stunning region, experience mountain views from your doorstep, nearby walks or in summer explore the shallow waters and rock pools for swimming along the river. The famous Benmore Botanic Gardens are also within walking distance.
Well behaved dogs are very welcome but rules apply. Maximum two - fees apply.
Oh wow, wow, wow! Such a fantastic place to stay and in such a lovely location- we didn’t want to leave!!
The house had everything you need and so much more! The hot tub is such a lovely extra, especially after exploring the local area. The host was amazing, so knowledgeable and welcoming. We are already looking to book again for next year.

Beautiful
Had the most wonderful 4 days in this lovely lodge. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub watching the red squirrels 🥰. There is plenty of beautiful scenery around and we enjoyed our daily ventures spoiled for choice. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need. The local pubs were dog friendly so never had a problem finding somewhere to eat. Oh and the little butchers that’s its name is worth a visit if you want to cook food was fresh and good quality. Can I also say how friendly and pleasant the neighbours of the lodge were. Would definitely return

Magnificent
House is absolutely gorgeous. So quiet and peaceful. Fully loaded kitchen with everything needed. Beds so comfortable and rooms immaculate. Lots of beautiful walks on your doorstep. Dara and family were so helpful and answered our questions straight away. Would 100% recommend the house

Did not want to leave
A full week away from the pressures of work. Perfect.
The weather was more than kind and Dara is the perfect host.
I can not recommend The Ranch enough if you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of town / city life. Yes there is wifi and the 4G connection is great but so easy to leave your phone out of reach and watch the wildlife. Red squirrels, woodpeckers, so many birds. Deers in the local area. Just so beautiful.
Worth the 7.5 hour drive. Argyll is beautiful. Do it!

Fantastic weekend
Just returned from a weekend stay at the ranch and it was brilliant! The house has everything you need, there are nice walks nearby, or if you want to stay in you can take advantage of the hut tub out back. I cooked dinner both nights for 8 people with absolutely no hassle, the kitchen is fully equipped. Would definitely recommend and would love to return

Family weekend
We stayed here with 7 adults and one child for the weekend. The lodge was set in stunning location, which was perfect for a chilled family weekend.
It was more than big enough for all of us and was deceptively spacious. The facilities were perfect, it was all well maintained and lovely and clean!!!
The contact from the owner was probably one of the best I've had from a property like this, he was on the other end of text and gave some great suggestions for what to do with our time in the surrounding area, and answered any questions we had quickly and seemed more than happy to help!!
If your looking for somewhere chilled for a group on the beautiful West coast of Scotland this is the place to stay!!

Had many other holidays in Scotland and this is the best one ever, great house and scenery, the hot tub is a plus, lovely lake at the bottom of the garden, highly recommended, lots to do and see,

Fantastic
We stayed here at Easter with my son and daughter-in-law. The Ranch went far and above our expectations. Great facilities, lots of space and warm and comfortable. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a long day walking. We saw lots of wildlife in the garden which we encouraged by relplenishing the feeders. Lots of walks on the doorstep including Benmore. I would love to go again if I could coordinate the family to be away from work at the same time. Everything is convinient a short drive to restaurants and shops. The fact that is dog friendly is also a bonus.
The only downside is the sat nav takes you to the wrong location. When you are on the lane going towards Glen Masson you have to ignore your sat nav and look out for the red phone box on the left and turn left. Maybe an idea for the owner to put a sign somewhere indicating the way.

Fantastic
We enjoyed a fantastic week here at The Ranch, they have thought of everything to entertain adults and kids alike and the views and walks are simply stunning. Will def be back!

A Hidden Gem
What a hidden gem The Ranch is. The house is beautiful and is so comfortable and homely. The log burning stove made the place so cosy when the temperature dropped to -7 for a couple of nights. We had a lovely family get together for our wedding anniversary and there was lots of room for us all. The hot tub was an added bonus and it was amazing on the cold clear nights to watch the stars. Glen Massan has been covered in frost, snow and mist this week and it is stunning. The owners and their friends were so helpful when we had a problem or question. Great service!!!! We will definitely be back.
