Lovely place to stay and so nice to be able to walk into town or down to the sea without having to take the car. Great it has a garden so we were able to sit out in the evening. Very well equipped and has everything you need.

Very comfortable, very convenient and very spacious (we were a party of 4). Close to the beachfront - walking distance - as well as the town center and railway station. Quiet neighborhood and attractive surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place.

nice roomy apartment..big bedrooms...parking can get busy, some times have to park a bit away , but its free...steep climb up to the entrance, wouldn't be suitable for the old, or anyone who struggles to climb.. but otherwise fine..would rate this a 3 star..We only used it as a base , as we were golfing everyday...

Centrally located house with everything you need for a relaxing break in Scarborough.Within 15 mins walking distance of town centre and seafront.Really enjoyed stay and wouldn’t think twice about rebooking.One cautionary note,the steps leading to the house could prove challenging to the elderly who aren’t to good on their feet.

Every little detail has been thought of, and it really is a lovely place to stay. The owners were very helpful when we asked for some specific advice about the area. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable, which had been mentioned in the guest book recently. We would definitely stay again, as long as the mattresses had been replaced!

Perfect location for us to visit family. A lovely clean place with everything you could need. Cosy and warm. 10/10! Would definitely stay here again. They had thought of everything and the extra touches didn't go unnoticed. Also great communication from owners. We can only apologise we didn't empty the dishwasher before our departure (we just ran out of time and the cycle wasn't finished). We will be booking again in the future. Thank you!

WOW!! What a beautiful place to stay. First impressions when entering the house was how spacious it was and how clean and modern it was. The milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were a welcoming touch as well as the bathroom toiletries and kitchen washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, wash machine powder etc etc. Paula had really thought of everything to make this house a 'home from home' experience. The house is only a 10 minute brisk walk to town and the sea front. We will definitely book here again for our next scarborough break and recommend to our family and friends.

We stayed at The Belfry last year and found the standard of accommodation exceptional. This year we thought we would experience a stay at The Steeple and our expectations were once again exceeded. The standard of the accommodation in the character, decor, facilities and cleanliness are at the very top of the scale. We completely trust the owners who make it their aim to provide everything needed for an amazing experience and stay. The Lantern next year may well be on the cards!!!

We had a wonderful time in Scarborough in this beautiful flat, really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. The area is quiet, within walking distance from city centre. Highly recommendable

The Steeple is situated in Weaponness, one of Scarborough's most desirable areas. It is ideally located for all of Scarborough's key attractions, with the Esplanade, beach and town centre easily accessed just a short walk away. It is within walking distance of the many shops, cafes and bars in Falsgrave and Ramshill - and a convenience shop and two real ale pubs are just two minutes' walk away.
Just a short drive will take you to the North Yorkshire National Park, including Dalby forest - a great place to visit for outdoor enthusiasts, with the famous Go Ape assault course that the kids will love. Nearby in Pickering you can board the North Yorkshire Moors steam train that will take you on a trip to remember through the glorious Esk Valley to Goathland and Whitby.
Getting around
Everything you need is in walking distance or the number 4 bus runs from Scarborough Town Centre to a stop opposite The Steeple. The service runs approximately every 30minutes between 9:20 and 2pm daily Mon-Fri.
