There is also a fenced children's play area. With the heritage coast just 3 miles away, picturesque Robin Hoods Bay only 6 miles away and the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway 30 minutes drive away, the cottages offer a wonderful holiday base in a fascinating part of Yorkshire. Whitby (10 miles away) boasts lovely sandy beaches, great restaurants and some lovely little shops amidst it's quaint cobbled streets as well as fishing and boat trips from the harbour. Scarborough offers traditional seaside entertainment with a great theatre and a sea life centre. There is plenty of lovely walking opportunities. Heartbeat country is located nearby and for the more energetic the Cleveland way is not that far away and affords magnificent views for keen walkers. Cyclists will enjoy the old Whitby to Scarborough railway line and the closely located Dalby Forest is fun for all the family, with play parks, cycle and walk tracks and a Go Ape adventure for the bigger kids. Good Restaurants and Pubs within 3 miles as are the local shops. A short drive away and you are at the historic city of York, great for a spot of shopping and seeing the sights. Dalby Cottage itself is a spacious beamed cottage, complete with open plan kitchen and living room. The cottage sleeps 4 and has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a fully equipped bathroom. We also have an additional en suite bedroom across from this cottage which sleeps 2 people in a double bed, this is a great option for larger parties and also is perfect for if you want to bring the grandparents or the teenagers. We can accommodate bigger parties in our other properties on site as we also have a number of other cottages available, all are listed on holiday lettings so please have a look at what else we can offer
Please note - we do have an outdoor hot tub available for hire which is an extra cost per night but this would allow full private access to the hot tub for your full stay - please message for more details.
