This beautiful fourth floor penthouse apartment commands superb views across Poole Harbour to Arne, Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills. It is in the prime position in the block which is in a quiet location. Poole Quay and the High Street have a good choice of restaurants, pavement cafes and bars. There is also a small cafe in nearby Hamworthy Park accessed via the local beach. There is a convenience store just 2 minutes walk away - handy for the daily newspaper and milk. We fully show you around the apartment when you arrive and then let you get on and enjoy your holiday. We leave you a copy of our Arrivals and Departures checklist and we are available for you should you need further help or local info. We will happily share info with you, should you wish, about our favourite restaurants, places to go... There is no cleaning charge if left as found. We are quite generous with this and all equipment and cleaning materials are in the apartment for you. However, it is your holiday and you may not wish to do any cleaning at the end of your stay. In this case we can provide a cleaner if you request prior to your departure. There is a charge for this depending on how much cleaning is necessary.

We have stayed in this apartment 3 times over the last year or so and it maintains its high standard and attention to detail. Ruth and John are very friendly and welcoming, even at 8pm on a wet February evening.Highly recommended.

The south-facing apartment has a fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath, and a fully tiled en-suite with shower. The fabulous tiles are by Porcelanosa ie sheer quality. The two single beds can be zip-linked to form a super king sized double. The other double bed is a queen size (140cm wide).There is a washer/drier in the kitchen and a 42 inch plasma with freeview in the lounge.The lounge/dining room has floor to ceiling windows on two sides with a patio door onto the balcony.

Outside there is a large terrace and balcony with high quality table, chairs and sun loungers. The south facing terrace has stunning views from Sandbanks to the east , Brownsea Island, the other islands of Poole Harbour, the Purbeck Hills, Arne and the Wareham River to the west.

Where the minimum number of nights is listed as four, this is gives our minimum charge during the week. This is considerably reduced per night and works out favourably compared to 3 nights at a higher rate. At weekends our minimum charge is for 3 nights. A telephone number is useful to discuss your requirements. We usually chat with guests before we take a booking.

About the neighborhood
Watersports tuition available include: windsurfing at Whitley Bay, Sandbanks; sailing at Rockley Watersports, Hamworthy, Poole; scuba diving off Swanage - and sea fishing trips from Poole Harbour.

Water-skiing, wakeboarding and parasurfing also take place in Poole harbour. Mountain biking is a popular activity in the nearby Purbeck Hills.

Poole has 41 miles of cycle network and the various routes cater for all ages and abilities of cyclists.

Brownsea Island, a National Trust property, can be accessed via regular pleasure boat from Poole Quay, where you can also find boats to neighbouring Swanage, Bournemouth and Sandbanks.

Also from Poole Port, regular ferries operate to Jersey, Guernsey and France. Day trips are available.

Parking your car(s)in our 'secure' car park is easy. We allocate you up to 2 spaces and give you a remote control to get in and out.
You don't have to come by car. Trains to London are twice an hour. Trains stop at Southampton-excellent for shopping. Local buses are frequent. Buses go to Bournemouth (shopping, beach and adjoining fab gardens) Christchurch, Swanage (steam railway) and Castlepoint shopping centre (Bournemouth). The 152 bus to Poole Bus Station picks up close to the apartment.
Planes land at Bournemouth Airport; you can get a train from Southampton Parkway Airport to Poole. There is an excellent coach service from London/Heathrow and Gatwick airports to Poole Bus Station.

Ferry to Poole Harbour (from Channel islands and Cherbourg). Also FastCat in summer. Then a short drive/taxi to the apartments effectively next door. A short walk if baggage is light.
