Self Catering Holiday Cottage in Llandudno, North Wales - 'The Queen of Welsh Resorts'. The Cottage is situated in one of the best locations in Llandudno on a private road serving only 2 other properties making it feel as though you are a million miles from anywhere - yet you are actually only minutes from the town centre. There's much to do with lots of great restaurants, bars and a theatre, lovely blue flag beaches, golf courses, the Great Orme Country Park, Ski Centre with Tobogan run, Great Orme Tramway, Cable Car, Copper Mines and much more. Llandudno has something for everyone. Shimdda Hir is quiet, peaceful and safe, set in large private gardens making it ideal for families and kids or a quiet romantic getaway for two.

Beautiful stone cottage very quite and peaceful and the aga was outstanding made some lovely meals on it also met tracey the owner made us very welcome lovely lady would recommend anyone to come and visit this place and only 20 min walk into llandudno and Rhos on sea

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Shimdda Hir Cottage and we didn't want to leave. The cottage was very spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms, large bathroom, a real farmhouse style kitchen & dining room with a lovely lounge having a window seat looking out onto a beautiful well maintained garden with lots of wildlife. Good location with only a five minute drive into Llandudno (beach, bars, shops & restaurants). Our host Tracy was very welcoming and her home baked fruit cake was a lovely treat. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the near future. Thank you Tracy.

Had a lovely stay at this delightful cottage. The cottage is secluded & has fabulous gardens. Totally child & dog friendly as it is at the end of a private road. Cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

This cottage is in a great location, on the edge of Llandudno and within walking distance of the beach (downhill). Despite the location, on a hill, the view isn't great as it's surrounded by trees but that's really a minor complaint. It's a very comfortable cottage with pleasant decor, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

A last minute booking and first time at the cottage. Really enjoyed staying in this very clean isolated cottage, but only 1-2 miles from llandudno or Conway. Cooking on an Arga was great fun. Also nice to meet the owner Tracy and learn about the history of the place. Will be booking again

Just got back from a 4 night stay here. The cottage is in a beautiful location, private and secluded yet only a few minutes from Llandudno. Cottage perfect for us, we took our dog who loved all the walking excursions and curling up in his bed. Highly recommended

Another lovely visit, following our first last year. The house is really homely and in a gorgeous setting. The little vases of flowers are a really nice touch. We will definitely be back, if only to sit and and look at the beautiful garden.

Stayed 22/12 to 29/12/18,this was our second stay here and had a lovely relaxing Christmas break.Thank you Tracy for the festive touches,as usual everywhere was clean and welcoming,the cottage was lovely and warm and we lit the fire every night .Lovely location for walks and even the weather was good,went to the beach every day ,my dog loves it,actually saw a seal in the bay Christmas morning,

Had a lovely break. The cottage is set in a lovely quiet location but close to lots of little towns and places to visit only a short drive away. The cottage is clean, tidy and has everything there that you would need. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the lovely gardens and using the bbq in the evening. Tracy is lovely and would be there if needed. We will definitely be returning. Thank you x

Just a few minutes walk from the cottage takes you onto the Little Orme with it's lovely walks and scenery including Angel Bay with it's seal colony. Local Pub, The Penrhyn Arms, with its award winning Real Ales is approx 10 mins walk from the cottage. Penrhyn Bay village is approx 0.5 mile away where you will find a great Chinese restaurant, and shops including supermarket and butchers.

By Air: Manchester and Liverpool Airports are approx 1hr 20mins drive from Llandudno. There are rail links from both Airports to Llandudno. By Rail: There are two railway stations. Llandudno Junction 3 miles and Llandudno 1.5 miles, taxi's are available at both Stations or we can arrange a pick up. By Road: The cottage is easy to find, approx 5 mins from the main A55 - detailed directions will be forwarded to you with your booking confirmation.
